Am I the only one here who believes this thread has no business on this forum? So what if he's a hobbyist; it was a poker game and not a hobby-related incident. NFW should you reveal his handle. However, I am sorry that you got screwed in a not good way.

I haven't said his handle. However if a provider had gotten a "loan" from a hobbyist with a session not taking place then disappeared she would be blasted. I have seen it happen. How is that any different ???

My rule of thumb - if you have to "borrow" to play poker you shouldn't be playing at all.

That sucks that dude did that ole "going to the ATM" - I see it all the time at some the games around SA. If it were me and I was hosting a game I would get a Square and have the ATM right at the game.

Kick him in the balls and maybe the $300 will fall out of his ass!

It is different in that this has nothing to do with a Session. That you are Hobbyist and Provider is incidental - you are/were Poker Players, in this instance.

And I have no problem with you airing your grievance here. But you did ask.

Yes it happens that providers are named but that is not an absolute. I bet there are many times where the hobbiest quietly writes it off as a bad decision. If you want to name him, do it. He deserves what he gets but continuing this is getting old.
