I read "Maryland Man" had as many as 17 US immigration hearings over the years prior. That sounds like a lot of due process to me.

If a deportation order has been issued, then all ICE is required to do is find the person and execute it.

I wasn't going to respond to any more of this kind of thing in this thread, but this point has been misrepresented multiple times now.

Obama was accused MANY times of violating due process during deportations. He was sued also. There was a large class action lawsuit over failure to provide legal council to immigrant children facing deportation, and the ACLU led a lawsuit over illegal detention tactics and....surprise!...failure to follow due process. There was a ton of media coverage about it at the time, and I remember it well. I was NEVER a supporter of Obama, and things like this were part of the reason why. Just part. He was a sell-out piece of shit.

But to an earlier point, his administration did nothing as high profile as this deportation of Garcia, which violated a court order. Then made it much worse by playing this ridiculous lying game of "we can't do anything about it now."

Meanwhile, we have to put up with the tired MAGA go-to of "TDS! TDS! TDS!" A great comparison of this that I read recently charges that it is the MAGA equivalent of accusing people who oppose Israeli actions in Gaza of being "anti-Semites."

Opposing some of Trump policy and actions is not TDS. And if it seems to people that it is more than "some" of Trump policy that is generating so much opposition, you may instead want to reflect on why so many of his actions piss off so many people.

But using the term "TDS" is not a valid explanation for it. That is nothing more than a simplistic attempt to stifle legitimate criticism. And it seriously damages the legitimacy of MAGA arguments.
