Yeah it's not hard...

But remember DMV employees don't give a shit about fraud because they aren't held responsible...like all government employees everywhere... zero accountability = infinite fraud.

I’m seeing a lot of FUD coming out in this thread.

There is absolutely no data to suggest that immigrant CDL drivers are more likely to be involved in a crash or accident than any other group.

If you want to make an argument that immigrants should be deported rather than contributing to the US economy then make that argument. Just do it using verifiable evidence rather than unproven fear mongering.

General Requirements for a CDL in California

To obtain a Commercial Driver's License (CDL) in California, applicants must meet specific criteria related to age, residency, medical fitness, and testing.
Age Requirements

Type of DrivingMinimum AgeIntrastate (within CA)18 yearsInterstate (out of state)21 years
Residency and Identification

  • Must be a California resident.
  • Provide proof of identity (e.g., California driver’s license, passport).
  • Present proof of Social Security number.
Medical Examination

  • Complete a medical examination and provide a Medical Examiner’s Certificate.
  • Vision must be at least 20/40 in each eye (with or without corrective lenses).
Steps to Obtain a CDL

  1. Obtain a Commercial Learner's Permit (CLP):
    • Hold a valid California noncommercial Class C driver’s license.
    • Complete an online CDL application.
    • Visit a DMV office to submit required documents and pay the application fee.
    • Pass the knowledge test.
  2. Complete Training:
    • Attend a truck driving school (recommended).
    • Complete at least 15 hours of behind-the-wheel training.
  3. Pass Skills Test:
    • After holding the CLP for at least 14 days, schedule and pass the skills test, which includes vehicle inspection, basic control, and road driving.
Testing Requirements

  • Pass both knowledge and skills tests specific to the class of CDL being applied for.
  • Skills tests must be conducted in a vehicle representative of the class of license sought.
Meeting these requirements ensures that drivers are qualified to operate commercial vehicles safely.
Meaningless as DOT regs control all U.S. Highways.

LOL... if its meaningless, then why did CA cancel those improperly obtained CDLs?

You seem to think just because the regulation exists, that criminals would never break the rules and regulations.

I wonder how that works with prostitution? How many reviews have you posted?
