I just find the argument that every person needs a gun to stop another person with a gun to be more than a little disingenuous. It’s my opinion that most people don’t need guns to live their everyday lives. And the massive amount of guns in the United States does more harm than good on a societal scale.
I think the gun manufacturers have been allowed to pervert our laws to protect their profits at the expense of our society.

The only perversion of the law and Constitution, are the many road blocks to actually even purchasing a firearm.
A 10 percent penalty tax on top of any ammo makers bottom line, all guns and ammo face that tax, so, you are paying 10 percent above cost on every item, do they tax books at an extra 10 percent?
No, so much for your right to carry, if you can afford it.
California forcing people to pay 50 bucks for a background check and transfer on any ammo purchase, yes, because I sold ammo to a guy in Kali, and that's what they charged, 50 dollars for 2 cases, shipped together as one bundle.
NY refusing to update its concealed carry system after the Supremes ruled against it, it will take another SCOTUS decision to make them fix it again.
Some locations blocking your ability to own or carry certain magazines, or guns, based on evil looks alone, like Shitcago?
I ask you to show me ANY civil right that is abused so badly.
And again, I don't know what Nirvana you live in, but two people were shot in downtown Pittsburgh today, a shithole, where if you read, where I first used a firearm to defend myself, and, its not gotten better.
Feel FREE to not carry, feel free to not have the means to protect yourself, It's America, its your right, but if you want to count on the police for protection, good luck.
The mere fact I have drawn a weapon three times, shows that there is a need.
