According to guidelines at said publisher, it clearly states this biography should show some compelling reason why the publisher should entertain and accept an author's manuscript -- i.e., the biography is written and submitted with the manuscript! Finally, it is the publisher's policy to have the author read and check the accuracy of the author's biography before a flyer is published. And again, after SIXTEEN YEARS of false advertisement, the bio was corrected within three weeks when it became a political liability for Odumbo in 2007. So yes, Odumbo played a direct role in what the literary flyer said and allowing it to run uncorrected for 16 years. It couldn't have been published as it was without his direct input and approval.
