Having had this discussion with more than one provider, it seems that it comes down to a few issues:

AA men often speak to them in a far more demeaning way than other guys do.

AA men insist on BBFS at a far greater rate than other guys do

And of greatest issue, AA men want to screw from the moment they walk in until the moment their time is up (and they hold back), which takes a physical toll on the provider.

Are these women stereotyping when they assume that all AA men will exhibit these behaviors? Yep. But it's their bodies, and they can do with them as they wish.

As for you, BJ, you seem sensible and well spoken, and I would consider these things in your communication with providers as there are always exceptions to every rule.

Thank you neversoft. some ladies I talked to have said that they avoid the thug talking and rude talking me. Heck anybody should in any profession--lol.

GP---That lady probably may have a pimp. Often I heard...right on this board...in the many topics on this very subject manner that many pimps will protect their woman from other pimps thus giving them a No Black Men policy. Not saying that is the only reason...but that is one of the reasons.

Neversoft those are some strong accusations and untrue in general.

I have noticed that most of the ladies out here will not see an African American man. All with their own reasons. I have never experienced any "more" issues with any type of ethnic backround.

It is though very unusual to be contacted by an African American male, I have been contacted 3 times in two years. Maybe it's the area I have no clue.

I will be honest and say as a suburbian white girl I wasn't exposed to many other races. But I am very open to seeing many people even though my past experience is limited. As a semi-experienced independent I am open and ready for fun!!!

Ladies, I accuse no one of anything, just sharing what I've been mad privvy to. Obviously I have no first hand experience as a provider with AA men. So my post is heresay by definition. And you two are clearly unique in many ways. So how do you guys explain this phenomenon?

From my experience Never is right. Even experienced this in the "civi" world.. try waiting on them in a restaurant, you get treated like shit, they dont tip and are rude. They look down at you and treat you like a slave.. I waited tables for 20 years and 90% are this way out to eat that I have waited on.. Not exaggerating either..

I have a preference but I dont rule out a gentleman no matter what race you are a gentlemen is a gentlemen.

For me most AA men have a certain smell I dont like.. no matter how clean they are its just an ethnic thing. AA men are not the only race that gives a scent.. that is my biggest reason. I can handle/deal tudes and I just dont get contacted by jerks very often no matter what race..

I also dont assume all will be like that because they are not.. just as many crappy white guys.. white trash douche bags etc, they come in all colors and sizes..

Another note Ms Neese is not run by pimps and would rock any of your worlds..

Lynn, I have heard the exact same thing, but I am going to throw out the exact same disclaimer as neversoft. This is only what I have heard from multiple providers. I have absolutely no first hand experience, so this is completely second hand hearsay.

I do not doubt you comment about Ms.Neese, but can you add any insight about why she advertises "white only'?

Really Lynnn? really? I always tip. My friends and I and other AAs I know. Whether it be the bar, restaurant, or any other service. I guess we are part of your 10%. And smell? What is this smell we give out? Is it oil? Coals? Cr@p? Or anything else that is brown or black and foul? LOL. Jeez--I read something new and out there everyday on these boards.

I’m not real big on racial stereotypes; I’ve found that good and bad come in every color. I have a few black friends and many black acquaintances. Perhaps this might be an indication of the black male mind set; whenever I mention the fact that I see escorts, I am always met with universal derision by my black friends. Phrases like “Can’t you pull down your own pussy?” or “You pay for that shit?” are the common reaction. Maybe it’s some kind of macho misogyny thing, who knows? It might explain why they treat escorts the way they do.

As far as the smell thing goes, different races do have different aromas. I’ve been told by more than one Asian person that they can’t stand the smell of white people. They claim they can smell all the meat we eat. Black people do smell different to me, no better or worse than whites, just distinctive. Asians do smell “fishy” to me. Maybe it’s all a diet thing.

I agree on the diet and it may also be attributed to the different personal hygiene products people may use.

Yes to the tipping and tude.. not kidding or exaggerating on that.. You are part of the 10%. Didnt even matter what restaurant it was either. Worked at many in 20 years.. I could get into detail on how mean they are to servers... waited on many races and sizes.. not like other races werent crappy sometimes but AA's surely stand out in the poor treatment factor by miles during my duration waiting tables..

Providers choose to exclude clients for lesser reasons than race. It's their prerogative- I guess.
Once a provider gave me a reason that sort of makes sense. I have a first name which she thought might be AA. I am not. My penis is though! [kidding] She goes on to explain that she does not date AA because her incall was her home. She was in the type of neighborbood that AA visitors would draw attention from her neighbors. When you're in the discretion business, it's unfortunate but understandable too.

Regarding this mysterious 'smell' that is potentially caused by the diets and hygiene of AAs. Maybe its because us colored folks just love to eat alot of fried chicken thus causing us to smell like Crisco. We also use a lot of cocoa butter lotion and ABSOLUTELY NO soap at all because we do not shower after we are done playing basketball and dancing to drums. Maybe that's it.

That 'smell' thing is like me saying that all white people smell like wet dogs which is not true by any means but is a stereotype said amongst AAs.

I'm not sure any AA would want to see you if you have it instilled in your mind that we are cheap and rude based off of your 20 years of being a waitress and also that we all smell. I could imagine the session will be half-a$$$ed and hurried.
