A bit of civility?
I appreciate LakeCat's comments to Allie. I appreciate her response even more. We need to be careful, though. This is a BBS and too much civility may get the whole thing shut down. It's just not done.

I think that we can all be civil to each other and still get our point across. I don't mind an honest question. Also constructive criticism is welcome as long as it's not offered in an antagonistic manner.
There are things I probably need to keep up with but like I expressed previously, I'm a self proclaimed slacker. LOL.
I'm still reliable and punctual. I think those are some very good qualities in a person.

Email/P411 is my preferred initial contact as well as follow up. However, if phone numbers are given, please make sure the VM is not full. When I setup an appointment in advance, I want to verify the day of the appointment and sometimes this has to be by phone. When VM is full, there is chance to get a NC/NS if something comes up (say a flight gets delayed) and access to a computer is not readily available.

I think phone calls can be best for the initial contact, fastest answer and response usually out of all of them. Texting only when I get to know them better, if it's an option, some have things in common with Machete. Emailing/PMing is good for setting something up in the longer term, a week or so in advance, or it can work as initial contact if they check it regularly.

I prefer email for the initial contact. I tend to go full stupid if I make the call first. After I hang up I usually realize I forgot to ask something I wanted to. Email communication feels a bit more relaxed too. Each party can respond at their own convenience. This works well if you are aren't rushing around looking for that last minute date.
After that texting works pretty good for me, but that's just because my phone is a major POS.

Contact Preference
I am getting set up on p411 and I am told PM and p411 is the best first contact. Trading emails after reference checks or screening is best for me. I enjoy getting to chat a little and the anticipation that comes with initial contact. I am with most of the rest of you though.. text is a tool useful in short bursts not for conversation. I would like to talk to you.
Please don't be upset if you leave a message and I cannot reply for 3 hours. My first job allows me limited phone and computer availability. I don't mind last minute if I am free. At least a day in advance is easier.

wow, I cant believe how many times p411 is mentioned. too much attention is bad.
eccie has a way of turning something good into something foul, and p411 is starting to stink. what is that smell anyway? I will probably delete my account on p411 soon.

P411 has a banner on this site also, so even if no one mentions it, it's known anyway. Also a lot of providers, such as myself, have a link to our profiles on there as well.
It's a useful screening site, but honestly I don't get many clients from P411. Most of my clients are from ECCIE. Every site has their strong points and weaknesses. You just have to decide what you're comfortable with.

Yeah I never get on P411... unless someone has a number on there and I'm trying to scope out a review or a few extra pictures... other than that--ECCIE is far easier to get the info I want.

I tend to text as a first option, unless asked not to. This way i can get a couple of questions knocked out(area and availability) without any issues., I.e. not the area i like but she sounds hot. That's just me however. As for sites, i use this and cross reference many others. I am a member to most, but this is the one i check on a daily basis.

I think email or pm is best. But, if your looking for
a short notice appointment phone works better.
I dont mind texting, if I know you.

If you are a new client, I perfer you to email me so I can screen you via the computer. If you are a repeat, it could go either email or txt. I only like phone calls if I am expecting you to call... otherwise, texting is best for me.

Definitely email, pm, or P411 for the initial contact. After we see each other phone calls and texts are welcomed but please understand that if you call me there is a chance I can't speak openly.

I've been texted and called out of the blue from providers before. Luckily, I don't have anyone I really need to explain myself to... and if I did, I can play it off as some model wanting to meet up for a photoshoot.
Having said that, I appreciate ladies who know that we gentlemen have a foot in 2 worlds and we usually prefer to not let the left hand know what the right one is doing.
