If I ask a provider for her rates (I only do this if I haven't found her rates posted somewhere recently) and she quotes more than I'm willing to pay, I'll just say it's a bit much for me right now and move on. A few times, the provider has dropped the rate a bit. But if she doesn't, again, I'll drop it and move on.

I would never ask a provider to lower her rates, if i want to see her i save up for that moment. The anticipation can make the event that much more enjoyable. I have received discounted rates from a gal that I frequented very regularly, she said she wanted to some what rely on a steady income. It was mutually beneficial.

Kat - first and foremost sorry people haggle your rates - anyone's rates for that matter. I wonder how the hagglers would feel if their boss asked to trim a few hundred off their next paycheck so the work environment was more favorable for the employer while their job stayed the same. Or if the hagglers cable provider asked for a few more bucks each month because they know you like their programming. I bet those yahoos would look for another job and find another service provider. Which is what I hope you choose to do for these haggler types..

There are plenty of dates and types of fun to be had in this community at every level of investment. Just tell the hagglers to look around - I'm sure for the rate they are asking there is plenty to choose from. And if there isn't, then it's either time for a new hobby or a better job.

In the service industry....in this economy it is more and more common for people to haggle. If you are in business...just get used to it....not saying like it...just get used to it.

What I don't like is the fact of someone asking/willing to pump up a review for a discount....and those that post a review when asked to...seems it would take away from the validity. In my one sided opinion...I think reviews should be accurate information on services rendered. A review shouldn't be about helping a provider...that is product of offering good services and reviewed honestly.

I appreciate all of the compliments! You guys sure do know how to make me feel a little sexy lol. I just made this post in hopes to educate some people on their "behavior". Granted, yes, haggling does come with the territory, it doesn't mean that it is acceptable or should be tolerated. & maybe some gents don't understand that it's a little rude. I was just trying to get the point across & I believe everyone in this biz deserves to be treated with respect.

I have decided for myself, how much I am willing to spend. If a provider is outside of that limit I have set for myself, I won't see her. Nor will I ask that she lower her rates. Even if my "ATF" has rates above what I'm willing to pay, I accept that. The problem as I see it, is when we allow someone else to determine what something is worth? Decide for yourself what you charge and are willing to pay and let that guide you. No matter how "hot" or how "good" she is, for me at least, there is a limit to what her services are worth.

Haggling is just rude.. Asking is she is running a special is fine but just straight up trying to get a discount isnt. I agree with the guys on here if you cant afford her prices then call someone more in your ballpark...Common sense.
