It DOES influence market prices because "butt ugly Tiffany" sees these rates and figures that is now the going rate, so thats what she charges. YOU are horny right now. But the numbers DO matter, and the OP chose $800 as the cutoff. There are a lot of guys who normally top out at $300 who will pay $400 because they are horny now and the woman is available when and where he wants, or her pics look good or she is said to be great on bed.

But there are fewer and fewer willing to pay as you raise that rate, which is why so few women in DFW are asking for $800+. It’s the market at work.

I would argue that you see this all areas of service today. People just don't give a shit about anything anymore. We're all commodities to be used up. If you didn't get the better end of a transaction, you're a sucker loser. Its brutal....
The difference between getting shitty service at the drive-thru, or a hotel, or your dealership versus a whore, it will sour you entirely on the hobby adding to an already long laundry list of obstacles this game has.



Why is that an issue? If you got bad service at McDonalds, you could call corporate, contact BBB, leave a google/Yelp review...voice your displeasure to set the expectations for other customers.
With the hobby, there is nothing for that so every encounter is a jackpot situation. Not only that, you typically need to pay upfront and its a major shitshow if things don't go the way for either party. People will say, "thats why we have eccie". This site represents 0.000002% of people engaging in the hobby. Even if you do share your experiences here, good luck getting anyone to see it after it has been hyper moderated, moved, or deleted. So, no....this site isn't that helpful.

Trust me, I’m relaxed. The few people who are charging or paying $800 aren’t setting the market, and it’s not part of some broader cultural phenomenon of declining service. It really is just some women are casting out a line, and they are doing a good enough job of marketing themselves to catch a few guys. It really has no bearing on what the rest of us do.

If you really want to get rid of the focus on the $800 mark, start another thread asking why guys pay $50 or $100 more for what you perceive to be the same product, and you might have a different conversation than the one we are having. The OP focused on $800, so that’s why I’m approaching it from that perspective.

I do not believe the OP's original statement was that a trend of most providers were $800/hr and above, even tho just about all have raised their rates to one degree or another, he was simply stating that the ones who were at those rates was mind boggling, especially considering, per his opinion, the service and physical looks do not warrant it. And, even though the subject, along with a few others, have been talked about extensively (how come providers have an NBA policy, what is your definition of GFE, ect.), he has every right make the thread and to post his opinion on it.

Differing opinions on the same subject are what this site is all about. Believe me, this site needs more civil discussion threads!

However, many frequent posters tend to go down the same path(s), no matter the subject of the thread, leading us down the same rabbit hole each time.

to add to OP's position, yes, its crazy with providers. Particularly with the STG variety, that go to Tryst and jack their rates. I also see this with the 'off-brand' of potential sugar babies.
