I ask this question to everyone who has a problem with "assault style weapons".

Have you ever fired one or even witnessed close up, first hand, how they fire and how they handle? If you have not, then you really have no idea what they are all about.

People use the term assault weapon too freely without actually knowing much about them. I am not claiming to be as much an expert as rooster, but I do consider myself extremely well informed on the topic. Most people think they know enough to form an opinion about them, when most of their "knowledge" is from Hollywood movies.

mmmmm movies LOL. Dirty Harry made 44 mag famous. To bad at the time factory loads made it useless for hunting, self defense, or police work. Ya had to go hand loading your own. Now you can get better factory loads for it. But still keep some of the V8 engine killers.
