Why no texts?

I understand no blocked calls but curious as to why most ladies don't accept texts? I would have seen women a long time ago but never had the courage to call. Thanks to a few girls on here, I'm getting over that but just curious as to why.

Usually when I get a text it's "whats up"/"How much"/"you available"/"you are hot,I need you now".......and I just got a text that said "what is your weight & height" .

{besides I failed typing in high scjhool....and I have a shitty phone that makes it hard to text..lol}

I don't mind text,but I prefer email or phone contact..there is so much to be discussed when setting an appointment that it makes it easier to make sure you get it all taken care of....Phone calls or emails are also such a better way to "get a feel" for a person.

Now if we have met before,text away{just identify yourself}

i absolutely hate text as a first way of communication because i do not know where you saw my info from and cant feel you out at all. a voice helps me see what type of person you are by the way you talk to me. first impression is everything. whats up and how much is not.

My only complaint about the subject is please limit your text. I do not have the time or patience to answer twenty questions with one finger! Well, I guess I could, but that would be rude.

I initiate via text set up some kind of convo and then call for location.if all I get is a "call don't fuccin text" ill jus deal with who is nicer thru text..has worked the last couple years no bad encounters or girls that look diff than ad pix..

I don't mind a simple text or two asking if I'm available or where I'm located but it seldom stops there. Most guys who text will try to carry on an entire conversation that way. It ends up taking about 20-30 minutes going back and forth a million times when all of the questions asked could be answered in a 2 minute phone conversation. It gets even more irritating if you have several people trying to text you at the same time or are trying to drive, eat lunch, relax, etc. As Belinda already stated, I need to hear your voice to get a feel for you. My last visit to NOLA I had several people actually text and want to meet without speaking on the phone at all. That is just creepy to me.

I've already sent an email with my screening info, left a voicemail, her voicemail mail box is full, she didn't answer her phone to give her a visual of the best time to call back, or if the tentative appointment is possibly same day and I need to screen quick. For ladies I have seen before who's number doesn't change I will text for availiability. And they usually respond faster. So its hella convient.

I don't like leaving voicemails, and if she doesn't respond when I call I find a text more convient and less initially a pain. A text I can edit before leaving something awkward as opposed to a voicemail which seems to be more intrusive to me. I work better with people and not machine.

Since most smart phones have quick access to email, google voice (words spoke that show what u said verbally throughher email, last call shown etc......the days of waiting 12 to 24 hours for a response or screening time is reduced.

I do notice for the most part touring providers are more opeen to receiving and answering texts than local independents. Also I notice more of the younger providers seem to be text friendly than the older ones as far as info through that way. If she's older I keep it short and to the point.

oh wow! That's why you get an iphone and text faster unless you're telling me that you don't know how to text or type and you need somebody to type or text for you. What a freaking joke most of you ladies are. All that money that you're making and you ladies are telling me that you can't buy a good phone to start with the text service?

If none of you are making too much or too little then I suggest you start reducing your price during this hard economic times.

You are missing the point. It has absolutely nothing to do with me texting too slow or what type of phone I use for that matter. I can text very fast. I simply choose NOT to let someone I have not even met-and who may or may not even be serious about meeting-monopolize 20-30 minutes of my day when the same questions can all be answered in a 2 minute phone conversation.
