So we get some new bodies in the white house what does it mean.

It means the usual mid-term shakeup that occurs in any administration. People get bored; get tired of the constant grind and criticism; want to cash in by working for the media, running for office, becoming a lobbyist or consultant. The Bamster also has to get ready for his re-election, so he needs to begin shaping his image to strengthen his appeal to his base (to suppress a potential primary challenge) while trying to appeal to the center (in order to win re-election). Politics as usual.

Fritz has got it right. There is always a large turnover about every two years. Then again I have been predicting a Hillary run starting with leaving the office in February. That was my prediction 18 months ago. I've heard many consultants (Rove, Krauthammer, Caddell) say that it will be difficult to run between Chicago and DC for nearly two years. Watch out for conflict of interests and federal violations.

The rumors are already flying with Hillary. With fairly little fanfare, alot of the administration has already resigned one at a time last fall...and they have been quietly replaced with people whom Obama has known longer...and who have better political campaigning skills. So I don't think there will be a huge purge...it was more of a soft and quiet purge.

I would also like to take this opportunity to point out that Krauthammer was part of the Carter administration, a speechwriter for Mondale, is pro-abortion, pro energy taxes, and pro stem cell research. Those on the right who think he their saviour because he has been critical of Obama have a very short memory. Those on the left who reflexively dismiss him because he has dared to grace the Fox airwaves...well, it seems their mind is just about made up about everything. The man is a columnist. He's not a prophet for the right, or a devil to the left.

Krathammer may be a psychiatrist, I think. I don't think he has any clairvoyant wisdom on politics, Hillary, or the admin shake-up. He plays the 'middle' well, and makes good money doing it.
