You Get What You Pay For

Give me a second to get on my soap box. Being a moderator means that I probably shouldn't post reviews, so I'm not going to. At least, not in my town. That doesn't mean I don't occasionally go out and hobby now and then.

I treated myself to a few Christmas presents over the holiday. While I'll spare you all the details, I would like to share the one truth about this hobby that became apparent to me. You get what you pay for. I hosted three outcall appointments - each at a different rate. All of the women were equally attractive in person. There were all friendly on the phone too. Here's where they were different.

The $150 provider was 45 minutes late, was driven in an old beat-up car by some weird dude who hung around my house and attracted the attention of my neighbors. The good news is we were done in about 15 minutes, because $150 / hr wasn't really for an hour of time. She didn't forget about me because she's texted me about her "specials" three times in the past four days .

The $250/hr provider was great. She showed up five minutes early on her own (at least as far as I could tell) was dressed nicely and we had a great time for about an hour and fifteen minutes. It was a great time, no drama, and I will probably repeat.

Last night, I treated myself to a $400/hr gal. She showed up on time, stayed for an extra hour for free (i tipped her a lil on her way out). She was by far the best looking woman and the most fun I've ever had (in recent time). I'll repeat with someone like her (or her) and I'll probably never forget the experience.

Here's my question to the board. Guys, do you feel that you do get what you pay for? Is there a minimum amount you will pay because you feel anything less would just be "too cheap"? Gals, does the pricing thing work the other way? When you set your prices, do you do so having an idea of the type of guy you're going to attract? Not thinking hot vs. geeky, but more like cheapskate vs. guy who can hang loose and have fun?

I have done a bit of research (blogs by former/current providers), various advice type articles etc and the one thing they agree on is that if you charge every last penny that the market will bear you will probably be successful. This is of course assuming that you behave in a professional manner. What it boils down to is that if you value yourself, others will value you as well.

And from my perspective, if you value me then I will value your little butt right back. I think part of that has to do with volume. If you have to be high volume because your rates are low then you are probably not the happy, energetic person you can be when well rested.

Not to say that girls who charge lower amounts are necessarily tired or worn out, but it can't help. :/ And sometimes you can get a HDH that is about as entertaining as a blow up doll but sometimes that can't be helped lol.

Since I don't normally see FS providers, I may be speculating. It seems that the lower priced providers would be higher volume and that could be their goal. Quantity vs quality. The higher price providers, the opposite. Could be why the 400 gal took her time and gave you quality service. Doesnt seem she would see as many clients and can take her time. She makes more seeing 2 clients while the 150 gal could see 5 and still make 50 less. That being said, I have paid 150 for a FBSM and felt ripped off with lousy service.. But thats just me.

Some might consider me to be a lower priced provider but that in no way means that i provide less than my very best when it comes to quality. When I decided on my prices I took in to consideration many things and my location being the top one. I didn't want a high price coupled with kind of a long drive to scare off clients so I figured on a price that would attract clients coupled with quality and nice experience for all. I would have to honestly say that I am very pleased with the way everything has turned out since I became a provider full time.

I'm below average but for a reason. But, it may have an impact on those that see me. I had a client tell me during a session that he normally doesn't see girls that are less than $200 an hour because he felt their standards were lower. When I asked him about me, he said it was different.
My donation is lower not because I have lower standards or won't give you what your looking for, but because I'd prefer a client to come back and see me often and with my donations at what they are, they can.

Well I've had experiences that would confirm and repudiate the OP's claim. I've had mind blowing experiences for well under $200 and horrible $500 dates. But I've also overpaid (based on performance) a $150 girl and underpaid one at $500.

I think it's mostly true. But I know one girl that is fantastic. But she's been raised in a blue collar environment, lives simply and left her $10/hr job to be a provider. She's absolutely thrilled to make more in a date than she used to make in 1/2 a week. She loves what she does and is great at it she's not a model that wears expensive clothes. But for the money she's a great date.

On the other hand I know another girl that grew up fairly well off. She's reasonably well educated and hotter than Hell. But she's lazy. She can't/won't keep a real job/career but her tastes require a reasonably high income. She doesn't particularly like providing bt she likes not having money even more. So she gets by on her good loooks & so-so service and travels enough to keep from wearing out her welcome. If I had to have eye candy for a cocktail party she'd be my girl. But her actual service is less than stellar and IMHO not worth the rate.

So it still comes down to the girl in the end...

Over time I have seen lower priced providers that were a total waste and some who are total gems. ( Mya, you're one of those gems ) I've also seen some higher priced ones, some great and some also a waste of money.

I think its not the price but what you give them in the way of yourself. Sometimes I like to go see the girls that have nos on the reviews just to see what its all about as long as their not le. So I say its a case by case thing. The hdh might give you over your time because they have the time to give. But money wise its all the same to me.

There's alot of variables in play here.

Provider looks?
GFE or Not?
Into freaky stuff like greek or NQNS?
Location and local rate?

I've been all over the map, and oddly my best experiences are on both ends of the spectrum. I have had good luck with $350 agency ladies...and had amazing luck with $100 ladies who are just doing this as a sideline/are into the kinky naughty secret lifestyle thing. And a whole lot of bad luck in between.

This thread reminds me of a lady who used to post like crazy, with $80 rates. She was constantly broke, and literally a day away from eviction from her hotel room on a continual basis. Of course, she had to live in a hotel, because sh had burned too many bridges by not paying apartment rent. People suggested to her to at least go to $150; but, she never understood the concept.

I'm low rate, low volume & I love what I do. I don't necessarily believe that you get what you pay for but just make sure you research a lady really well to make sure that you feel satisfied with the results.

Grace is absolutely an incredible woman. Her rates are affordable for those of us who have an urge more than once or twice a month to see her.

Admittedly most of my experiences have been in the AMP and casino environments, but I can say that in both of those areas my experience has been that higher rates don't necessarily equal better service. Particularly in the casino world the rates are very fluid and negotiable.

For me if a lady is low volume & has good rates she ends up seeing the same guys which in the end makes it better for us both. Gives you more time to find the level of fun you both enjoy. Plus we can go to fun places like the strip clubs.
