While I've been lurking here....

I have come across some interesting threads relating to CL and BP. I suppose that since CL has effaced their adult section of the services menu, the guys and girls of happy hobbying are looking to BP for the "something different and dangerous" adventure.

ONE or maybe two POSITIVE reviews are all I have seen here about boy and girls from either of these sites.

While I advertise outside of the adult arena, I HAVE helped a VERY legit friend post a BP advert. To which, she was greeted with an assault.

I know this group of guys are probably (mostly) migrants from ASPD. Additionally, I KNOW that none of you (gentlemen or ladies) would have behaved in such a way toward a provider/client (and maintained posting status here) I am also aware that alot of you boys may not post positive reviews of someone you saw from BP, as they may not be a member of this forum.

My question to you all (guys and dolls) is simply, how often do you utilize the offerings/services of BP and CL? And have the majority of your experiences been of a positive or negative nature?

You have to realize there are all types of reasons, and ladies, that post on BP. I have used BP, but I have never seen a lady from there that isn't on here or hasn't been reviewed other places. I guess I mainly use BP to see who is coming to town. To answer your second question, all mine have been positive because of what I said earlier about reviews.

I can speak for my experience, I have never used either CL or BP, ever. At this point in the game I figure why risk the disappointment. I know several ladies here, and we are always willing to welcome more, that will give great service. So, I chose not to use CL or BP, just me.

When istarted in the hobby, I saw my first lady from Eros, I got very lucky as she coached me to get a hobby phone, and gave me pointers on how not to get ripped off. For me just luck, I saw a few other providers from that site and I was turned on to ASPD and yes I migrated to here.

I have noticed in my time hobbying that some providers get bad reviews and tend to blame the reviewer, I think this is absurd. As a client am I to believe the seller or the consumer concerning the product. I usually go with the consumer as he or she has no stake in the matter, no money to be earned or lost.

I choose to reflect on my actions when a client critiques my work and second guesses my decisions. I am not infalable, I have bad days, I make mistakes, and I am human. I rather attempt to make things right for the client and make a decision if my service should change or not, and sometimes all that needs to be changed is my attitude or the way I project information. Tone, attitude, and demeanor go a long way, at least that is my experience and it has worked out very well for me. But again this is just me.

Sometimes there are ladies visiting who are known here on ECCIE, that post on BP but for whatever reason dont post an ad on ECCIE.

If a lady has an ad , and has some reviews or I have recieved some backchannel recommendation , then I will see her.

But the days of just seeing a lady without any sort of intel are over for me.

I've been very careful about using BP lately since the authorities have been looking around and there have been rip-off artists working either side of the fence.

I tend to find someone who looks interesting, check for Tineye hits, and then see if I can find a positive review for them somewhere, even if not from this area. That minimizes the chances of problems as well as weeding out girls with bad reputations for whatever reason.

While I dabble a bit on bp in my time, I find that the providers I pick up from there rarely work out. As a matter of fact, I. Can count on one hand how many rainbow trout I have pulled out of that lake of boots.

What I find confusing is how many guys keep going back there instead of pursuing the ladies on here.

I find it amusing that peole care so much about who is advertising where. To each his own. Newsflash!!! Not every hobbyist in the US is on Eccie. It is a well known fact that this site is hardly a providers bread and butter.

Many reputable providers and hoobyists have fished in the bp pond. Many who bash it may have used it in recent months. Who is anyone here to judge others?

Am I on bp now? No, but everyone needs to crawl before they walk, right?

I am not bashing the site...and yes, I have used it in the past. However, the site is now drawing negative attention and LE has taken a personal interest in it. It is not as 'safe' as it used to be. And unfortunately, the women using it as a way to advertise on are not as trustworthy as they used to be either. If you take a minute to look at all the negative reviews posted lately, they are mostly about women met on BP.

So, you chose not to post there. I do too, for now. I just don't understand why this continues to be a topic of conversation time after time. Im not trying to be a bitch, Ms red, you are a doll. Again, to each his own, Im not here to judge. I see who I chose to see and post where I feel is beneficial. The gents chose to see whomever tickles their fancy. Blonde, Brunette, big, small, tall, short, fake, real, great smile, nice teeth, great legs, nice ass, GFE, PSE.
Bottom line is be safe, have fun, be smart, live and learn. You have fun with BP, more power to you. Eccie works best for you, great.

I have to agree with Lilred and the other guys in this thread. Backpage is not what it used to be. There may be a very small handful of ladies who are worth the time a day, but the chance and risk is too great for me. I'm not saying Eccie is the only site with good ladies, but I will use it or other escort sites before I hobby on there. It looks like all the police stings have been on girls from the backpage venue.
