Default 'Escort' change to 'Sexual Specialist'

I would like the 'taboo' word of 'Escort' to be redefined. Through my experience,it should be given the respect of any other career. We go to a specialist to get our hair colored and styled....doctors to prescribe antibiotics...mechanics to fix our cars...therapists to fix our mental or physical state of being.

Why do we not respect what the many fine women do for our sexual health as well?

In my time in the hobby.. I have met solid, upstanding women. (Not all mind you...but most.) I have shared birth, trama, and death with my clients and provider friends. There is much more to gain from a provider/client relationship than just the act of sex.

I respect the women for taking the stance to support their families, better their education,or save for a future goal.

Everyone has their own story and individual reason for coming here....but I believe it has the potential to be more if we allow it.

I am so thankful for this experience in the hobby! It has been a great teacher in life!

Hmmmmmmm.

And maybe Sexual Specialist should be licensed or certified . . . I'll volunteer to be part of the examination board!

Seriously, though Sadie, you well know my theory. The Provider/Hobbyiest relationship over time becomes much more than just a sex act, especially those you enjoy spending time with.

There are some who share frequently on the board who are part of the hobby to just "get their rocks off", so to speak. And I believe there's a segment of providers who are here for just that. In my experience, those that have been around and are successful are the ones of whom you speak. It's another one of those intangible experiences Giz referred to in another thread.

Instead of specialist, I might suggest a term closer to therapist. Intimacy Therapist? Sexual Counselor maybe?

For those really interested, I would suggest going to some workshops on tantra. That could really give some legitimacy to the title, specialist, therapist, or whatever the wording. After all the semantic salsa'ing though I just hope you and Lily stay in Arkansas.

Happy Holidays.

I agree BB. The relationship that can develop between a provider and a client can make your sessions ten times better. I think many new hobbyists eventually figure out that they can find both a friend and a lover with certain ladies. The gentlemen who try their best to cultivate that relationship are the ones we are most fond of and who get the special perks

Ohhh I like 'Intimacy Therapist' much better Figure Artist!

I can honestly say I have met true friends in this enviroment. Being intimate is so much more enjoyable if both parties share a trust and comfort with one another. It is far more satisfying for me atleast..to have brightened another's spirit that was low, than to just go through the actions of an appointment. We both have gotten something out of the time together that way.

There are alot of special people here...don't ever forget it.

What about "Sensuality Specialist?" That fits a select few of the ladies, and they should be entitled to such a special designation!

So, do we have any nominations? I will volunteer to be on the screening committee and do the interviews!

As said by poet, " a rose by any other name." However one chooses to advertise, advertising should reflect accurately service offered. Much confusion accompanies that business relationship that is misunderstood as existing on more personal level. Is interesting to note that in English word "lover" has no difference between sexual and romantic. Would seem proof that difference can be hard to tell. An escort accompanies one for a given distance or period of time. It is an accurate word that does not promise what cannot be bought, or sold.
But then, advertising seldom entirely accurate. In China recently man was jailed for selling cardboard disguised as meat. Apparently some time elapsed before customers saw difference.

I have preferred the term "sexual therapist", but "Intimacy Therapist" is even better. It is a more wholistic description connoting not only the physical, but the mind and emotions as well.
You would function as a therapist, counselor, and educator. You could even schedule sessions like college curriculum, meeting 2 or 3 times per week for a semester. You could teach with books and videos, and then with a personal demonstration.
Of course, for those unable to attend an entire semester, you would still offer individual 1 hour and 2 hour, etc. sessions in order to brighten our days and give guidance to our needs.
Sadie, you would also be a good teacher for other ladies entering the business. Many could benefit from learning to do more than just "going through the actions of an appointment".
Sadie, I can't imagine a man not wanting intimate therapy with you!!!!!!!!
Judging from what little I know about you, intimate therapy with you must be a wonderful, comforting, satisfying, fulfilling, rewarding adventure!!!!!!

Lily & Sadie together? Group Therapy and Couple Therapy come to mind but they're not enough. Intimacy Modeling Therapy or Partnered Confidence Building

A name wouldn't necessarily be needed for the pair but more for the activity; which would need to be based around the idea of intimacy, healing, and the like.

I still sit/stand by the idea of getting some tantra credentials and setting up a business.

Is it weird that watching In Treatment makes me think of this post?
