Default How in the world did this not cause an uproar?!?!

I like watching movies... A LOT! I love watching ones that cause conversations afterwards, that make you go "Hmm", and ones that take you by surprise. Can't say I love horror films at all really.

Anywho, I stumbled across a movie tonight on my hard drive that I totally forgot what it was about. In less than a minute I was captured and couldn't move.

It touched on some very sensitive political topics right now. It pissed me off, and made me sad. And dammit.. I am still all "grr" about it..

Has anyone else seen this flick?

Unthinkable

Samuel L. Jackson stars with Lady Trinity herself - Carrie-Anne Moss

A psychological thriller centered around a black-ops interrogator and an FBI agent who press a suspect terrorist into divulging the location of three nuclear weapons sets to detonate in the U.S

As boring as that sounds.. I promise it is not, even if it is just a tad predictable.

That wouldn't deserve mention in media circles. To do so would skirt the line that separates Hollywood from CNN. If that ever stopped taking place THEN it'd be all over the place.

Good movie tho. Also a fan of Samuel L and Carrie Anne.

I thought it was incredible.. I have actually watched it several times. Similar but different is the movie 5 Fingers.

I liked it too. The question is, do you think it's a believable scenario that happens in real life? I vote absolutely yes.

It happens. For far less than nukes on our soil.

I mean "I believe it happens"

My guess is that this movie didn't get any buzz since it went straight to video. I remember it coming out on Netflix but I gave it a pass... my Netflix list is pretty deep and I have been burned by direct to video before. If ya'll say it is super awesome then maybe I can give it a try.

When it goes direct to video it usually means the movie didn't test well with an audience.

It seems to me that many movies with "sensitive subject matter" go direct to dvd.

What else is in your queue? I don't have netflix... *sad panda* and I need ideas.
