Mila, I certainly feel sorry that lala had such a bad visit to Austin. No defending the amount of NCNSs. But concerning a double standard -- this is a provider's business, usually full-time. And it is usually her only source of income. When she sets a date it is business. When a guy sets a date it is time for pleasure. I will NEVER defend a no-show but I would certainly expect cancellations to be more defendable on the guy's side than on the provider's side. Just my 2 cents.

I am REALLY sorry this happened to you. I don't think it's typical of Austin guys by any means. I assume you contacted these guys to reconfirm their appointment. What happened? Did they reconfirm? When they failed to show did you contact them to ask what the problem was? Did they respond?

I find a much higher percentage of guys cancel on me on tour than locally but thankfully, I almost never experience NCNS. I think in general hobbyists might think they can treat traveling girls poorly without getting as bad a rep. One reason they might think that in Austin is for whatever reason, traveling girls almost never post a warning to their fellow Austin providers about bad client behavior. I don't know why, but the girls from Dallas, if they post anything, tend to post it in areas where the men could read, such as here or in the co-ed alert section. All that does is invite yourself to be bashed.

We have two forums where ladies can provide info on NCNS and other bad client behavior.

Sorry. Your argument doesn't make sense. When I cancel on my therapist with less than 24 hour's notice, I am required to pay the full session fee. Why, BECAUSE this is her business and she held a spot for me that could have gone to another paying client. I am not suggesting that providers start implementing cancellation fees, but there are many professionals that do.

Also, I think there is a huge difference between calling at the last minute to cancel because something came up versus a complete no call no show.

I hope she contacted all these guys to confirm the appointment as it's possible some of them forgot but that's still no excuse if it was a set date. Obviously mistakes happen and people get busy and can't make it, but they should at least have the decency to contact the provider and let her know, or if for some reason they forgot about the appointment all together, they should contact her later and apologize.

(I'm Basing that on quantity of reviews) PRSandra, Dayanna, Jinhee, Heather Holliday, Anna Belle Lusts, Miss Parker, Stacy Hunter... Fit/Attractive ladies with relatively good TCB/BCD seem to do quite well... It's usually the lower performers that complain about Austin....

Austin guys absolutely Love traveling providers because they offer variety from the norm no matter how good the norm is. There is of course NO excuse for NCNS on either side. It is disrespectful and discourteous. On the provider's end it is also unprofessional. As I stated earlier I have zero tolerance for a NCNS no matter how hot the provider. No second chances. I have never NCNS'd anyone because I never do incall.

The point is those traveling providers who are In Demand for whatever reason be it looks, proven bcd skills or consistent strong past reviews don't typically run into this problem in Austin. That is a fact. This is no slam against the beautiful subject of this thread but clearly she is not in demand for whatever reason. Austin guys were very willing to give her a try but clearly not that inspired to see her for different reasons.

The solution to this would be to fix that by creating reviews which in turn increase demand which in turn gets her exactly what she wants. In order to get reviews she might have to compromise a tiny bit at first to get sessions. She clearly would rather flip channels than establish herself here and create future business.

There are three options:
a.) Be realistic about what is happening and possibly why it is happening in order to fix it which might require a small degree of compromise at first or

b.) Quietly call it a no match and move on to greener pastures. Gfelala seems like a very amicable and cool person but this thread clearly does not represent a win win solution.

c.) Follow a certain provider's lead by trying to publicly intimidate the very guys who pay your rent with the overused ominous lady's forums threat. This should be used quietly to protect women on the board. This antagonistic approach might not be the wisest option in terms of PR.

This is NOT personal or Austin guys would not have even bothered negotiating with her period with so many other proven providers available. The cynical/humorous remarks on the board are just guys being guys. She is not at all disliked in Austin. She is simply Not in demand yet. The rest is up to her.

Regarding visiting ladies........

young spinners with good TCB and good reviews in their home town that don't jack their rates when visiting seem to be keeping their dance cards filled when they are here....... especially the $180-$225 ones......

Two whose visit overlapped one of the strip club luncheons, got an invite, came and partied with the guys and seemed to leave town with some additional clients and money in their pocket....

No problem. Just please post their information in the forums I linked to so other traveling ladies and locals can watch out for these guys in the future. I cannot stress how important this is. If they think they can get away with this and still get appointments, they will never learn.

I'm sorry you had a bad trip. I get the impression from others and my own experience that Dallas, Austin, and San Antonio are the least favorable towards traveling ladies. West Texas, Corpus and Houston are really good. You might try there to see if you have better luck.

1. first of all Austin is NOT, DFW, SA or Houston we do not have 4 Million people living in a 30 mile radius from Downtown. We barely have 1.2 Million in the 5 County area

2. its does suck to be NCNS or Canceled on, but here is novel idea do not come to town expecting to be booked solid, come to town, announce your visit a week before not 5 weeks before,then take appointments as they come.

For some reason you traveling gals think you are supposed to hit the Travis county line and everyone is just dying to see yall, well that is not the case and never will be.
Just like when I travel to a new town looking for new clients I EXPECT it cost me $$ the first couple of trips, then perhaps I will pick up and deal here and there until I make a name for myself.

have any of yall heard of the old saying " it takes money to make money" well that is still alive and well.

why do yall always rate Austin on how much $$ yall make on the first visit??? You have to prove yourself just like any new Provider coming to town. just because you are numer uno in H-town does not make you numero uno in the ATX

It's best to ignore most, if not all, advice coming from this poster.

You do not need to be under 25 and under 110 lbs to do well in this town. You also don't need to spend your afternoon eating a mediocre hamburger in a dark, dank strip club surrounded by salivating carnivores to generate business.

You do, however, need to plan a bit more in advance. Whenever I travel to new places, I advertise two weeks out. With your first ad, introduce yourself and offer a pre-booking incentive. With the responses from that first ad, you can kind of gauge interest and begin planning your trip. Your next weekly ad should be more concrete and generate more interest since its not so far off.

Make sure not to limit your ads to the review boards. P411, City-vibe, Eros and escorts.com are great advertising venues that are well-known nation wide. If you ever have questions, come to the Provider Powder Room. There are so many kind and helpful ladies who will gladly answer any questions you have.

And lastly, please make sure to post the info of the unsavory guys who NCNS'd you. Austin is a small town, but an absolutely great market if you present yourself and handle your business well. The guys are nice, respectful and very considerate. I've never had a NCNS here. I hope you decide to give Austin another shot and don't let this trip or a few heavy posters in this forum sour you on coming back.
