I am not happy with TER

I am not happy with TER. They allow false reviews, i.e. Review by justfun11 is a cliff notes version of GenerousDFW's review of me. Recently, GenrousDFW tells me that he rated his time with me a 10. TER staff gave me a 7, and they've never met me. WTF????
TER sucks in my opinion.

TER like providers in general is YMMV. I use it because it has one of the best databases for reviews on a national level. I check out about a dozen or so escort review sites. Face it, not all providers are on ECCIE. TER is just one of many resources.

If you don't mind my asking, as a client what other sites do you consider part of your big top 10 to find providers?

Aparently, Per TER guidelines, the max score is 7 unless the provider offers some or all of the following: DFK, BBBJ, Greek, really bisexual.

I offer everything but Greek. TER can bite my butt!

FWIW, I have never experienced nor heard of TER changing ratings. They do offer guidelines for how to use the rating scale. But, have you considered that the client actually did use a 7, and made up the part about TER changing it? Sounds more plausible to me. Some guys don't like to be confronted about their reviews.

While I typically do not review, preferring to keep who I see secret; I have occasionally written reviews on TER. THREE of my reviews were downgraded by TER admin. I fought ter admin on those and only got my original score honored on one of the three.

Ter admin absolutely downgrades performance on reviews based upon presence/absence of certain factors.

Wow, well, I stand corrected. Makes the site much less useful for me. I do use it when traveling as it has good national coverage. But, if they change client ratings, then screw them.

Oh, TER... *sigh*

I think most of us with half a brain or more take TER with a grain of salt. I've had a handful of reviews rejected by TER that were written by gents who I have had amazing times with (and continue to do so!) with the reason being "they pick and choose which reviews to post" or something like that. My last review is from almost a year ago there, which leads the casual or inexperienced researcher to believe I've either A) retired or B) am no longer any good LOL.

Please don't worry about it...there are so many other quality sites out there, including this one, and any gent worth seeing will do his share of research along with selecting you not based solely on someone's reviews but on how you portray yourself.

TER downgraded one of my reviews because it wasn't hot enough or detailed enough for them. To get a 10 on TER, I think the provider has to be do everything including greek. Most 10s include Greek if not, then everything else with MSOG or some sort of discriminator. Also, CBJ warrants a downgrade.

P411-not really a review site but gets me close to reviews
Escorts.com
ECCIE (of course)
eRAPS
EROS
CityVibe
INDYS (An ECCIE like board for OH, PA and other areas up North)
BigDoggie-- but it is pretty much useless
Backpage-- not for reviews but to see what is out there

I like the way ECCIE is set-up, but if you are outside the southwest, you nered to look in other locations for information. I have not had any issues with TER and reviews but do keep in mind there "rules" for reviews. To get a 10, the provider has to offer everything, but you don't need to have expereinced it yourself.

Not the best rating system in the world, but helps keep some objectivity to the review. Otherwise, everyone has their own opinion of what a 10 is a posts it.

Of course, this being the real world, diiferent strokes for different folks and YMMV trumps it all.
