For the most part, I agree the government is corrupt in some way or fashion. I don't think it's a huge conspiracy going on, just politics seems to breed the type of people that look out for themselves and only themselves, so it doesn't really matter to them what they do or how they do it as long as they are getting their own and can keep getting their own.
