How should we react to BBFS in the hobby?

Let's make sure that those who don't frequent the Houston Boards understand the nature of this poll.

This topic was once again raised in co-ed, beaten into oblivion and like many threads that have outlived their useful lives began to deteriorate into fodder for the unruly cats that spend the majority of their time trolling for new toys to play with.

You decide to jump into the mix because no one on any of the other boards will play with you and you need your attention fix. However, instead of stating your opinion and moving on you decide to denigrate the population by taking a holier than thou attitude even though you obviously didn't have the sense of humor to see where the serious turned silly.

Your admonishing attitude strikes some of us as funny which ads to your juvenile frustrations so you promise to leave but don't.

Then like a child with his fingers stuck in his ears going "I can't hear you" you annoyingly continue to post the same thing over and over as if it somehow adds to your point.

Now, instead of bowing out gracefully with your dignity still intact, you run to the national board looking for affirmation.

I don't thinck your little poll will reflect anything more than the board's disdain for your antics.

Dude you are such a hypocrite. You voted to denounce it but not make a big deal about it, and all you've been doing is make a big deal of it. Are you hedging your bets with your vote?

The way the poll stands at 4:48 pm Central time, 63.33% don't think BBFS is a serious health issue and a big deal shouldn't be made of it. I think that undercuts the constituency of your behavioral obsession substantially.

Apparently, not everyone thinks BBFS should be joked about (68%), but it is still early, we should wait and see what the results say.

I did vote for #2, and if you go back and read the first posts on this subject this week, you will see that it is consistent with what i posted. I only made it a big deal when a few ass-clowns began joking about it. Look at the vote results and see for yourself. Serious providers and hobbyist do not think this is a joke.

and I voted #3 just to help skew the vote which BTW is in a dead heat. So much for reality.
It has nothing to do with my viewpoint on BBFS.
It has everything to do with a referendum on how serious to take a SHMB.

I won't go that far, but I will up the ante a little bit. If the "joke" option wins, I will do the following:

1) Change my avatar for the rest of the summer to a pic of Joanie Cunningham

2) Make the membership status say "Houston's Bitch"

3) Refrain from posting in any regional boards other than Ohio unless it is to do an ISO or a Review of a provider I saw when I am actually traveling there (big traveling season ahead of me) for the remainder of the year. If it is overwhelming (margin of at least 30% over the other options), I will make that the lifetime of ECCIE (unless I move to another state).

What are you guys willing to do if you and the BBFS Peanut Gallery fails to get a majority of votes?
