I'm helping a friend, David, who has constructed a high energy efficient green home in South Austin and his home is one of ten national finalist. He doesn't care about the prize... he would just like to bring first place to Austin to raise awareness to green home building in our city.

Got my vote, too. I built my house out in the country recently, and although not totally green, I incorporated many aspects of green construction into it.
