Miami vs. the Lakers in the finals next year. Lakers win again. I'm just sayin...

Why the hell didn't Cuban go after him?

You don't know your history. This isn't Lebron's first contract. He gave them a pretty decent amount of time to help bring in other talent. You can't buy a championship, you have to have good management to build a team and Cleveland did not build a good team, regardless of spending money.

That being said I do not agree the Heat are outright favorites. They still don't have the length to defend against Gasol, Bynum and Odom (only Odom stops Odom) and Kobe has proven time and time again he is the best closer and now best leader in the game. Add Fisher and an ever improving Laker bench and the Heat have a hill to climb.

We can all sit here and beat up our gums, but all this is is opinion, emotion, and speculation. Most of it "founded" by SOMEBODY'S school of thought, we can beat this up forever but......

"That's why they play the game", I think we will all see soon enough. Personally, I think as player, or human being they all have to do what is right for them, not the team, the city, or the fans.

(just my .02, worth what ya paid for it)

My favorite moment of this whole deal was when one of the "pundits" on ESPN made a comment about how this had become a media circus, lol, ....... HELLOOOOOO!!!! It's not like the 1 hour announcement was on CNN or something.

When word got out that a teammate was banging LeBron's mom it was a foregone conclusion that he was leaving Cleveland. Plus, what good supporting cast did the Cavs produce to help LeBron? So what if he never wins a title? There are many in the HOF that do not have rings.

1. No cap space. Cuban could only do a sign and trade.

2. If you were a centamillionaire, where would you rather live -- Miami or Dallas?

And I disagree about the Heat being favorites in the East. I think it will take two years to surround the Three Kings with adequate talent. I don't think Riles can do it in one year with only minimum salaries to work with.

Ah, the new LeBron commercials are already being aired.
"LeBron. What Delonte (West) did to yo mom was turrible.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3MMIE...layer_embedded

Q: What the real reason LeBron signed down south in Miami?
A: His momma was tired of riding West.

"Michael didn't win no championships working out in no pool"
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YsoP6bjADic

And so it has begun.

PS. I wonder if his contract for the Heat had any special provisions that if another player started to bang his momma like in Cleveland, LeFail would be allowed to knife him on the court as soon as he found out and the team would pay for his legal defense.

I could not agree with you more. If Bynum is healthy, (and that's a big if), no team can compete with the Lakers because of their length.

It looks like Bosh is going to be forced to play center on this team and he's just too soft to combat what the Lakers can put on the court. The Lakers have two legitimate 7 footers and no team can match that. Again, given Bynum's injury history, I may be too optimistic.

I'm just happy Lebron did not go to Chicago with Bosh. If he did, the Lakers may have been in trouble. Dumb move on his part if he is truly going after a ring.

I am really not even sure if Miami can get past Boston. As a life long Lakers fan, I hate to say it but I'll be pulling for Boston to get out of the East. If Bynum was healthy, I doubt the last Finals even goes six games.

By the way, why is everyone acting like Bosh is a superstar? The guy could not even get in the playoffs in the bad Eastern conference. He put up good numbers on a bad team.

Oh well, I'm very curious to see how this plays out but my money is still on the Lakers. Ron Artest is probably the only guy in the league who can actually keep Lebron in check in a seven game series.

I dunno...ask Dirk.

My point is, he treated Cleveland like shit. Whatever reasons he had for going to Miami (playing with his buddies, hanging out at the beach, knows he can't carry a team on his own), he didn't have to flaunt it like he did. THAT is why I wish failure on him.

Call your owner, meet with your teammates, issue a press release...then head off to South Beach and enjoy the party.

Here's a small glimpse into the actual ego of LeFail.

He went and reserved over 20 rooms in each of the cities he had kept on the hook "in case he would be there to party".

Did anyone miss my comment on his posse? The posse is going to be his downfall once he gets to Miami.

Slam Cleveland all you want but the mild night life in Cleveland is much more conducive to success on the field or the court than a 24/7 party center like NY or Miami and with LeFail's ego thinking he can handle it, but his posse will keep him up all night in the clubs chasing hot tail.

If you think Kobe had issues in Denver, wait till LeQuit gets a taste of those scheming biatches from South beach claiming he did shit to them in his room.

Agreed... LeBron showed a severe lack of class and a huge case of megalomania and arrogance by how he handled this whole thing.

Thumbs down With that Bosh money, the Heat could have signed 2-3 good players. I guess they just needed that overrated one.

Exactly, Chris Bosh is just Jermaine O'neal of some years ago. I don't get the hype either. He's good, but I've seen him play like trash defensively many of times. Kinda irrelevant though since hes got James and Wade to carry the load. He better not play center that's for sure.

Honestly I didn't think any player or team could make me root for Kobe and the Lakers...but the ego-maniacal way this was handled and the way the sports media fawn over a guy who hasn't done anything team related...well, if it's a Miami LA Final...I'm puttin on my purple and gold.

Unfortunately...3 "stars" driving to the basket with the NBA star system officiating...I see little chance they won't win titles.

Go Mavs

Unfortunately this reeks of the Yankees. "Best team money can buy". If things happened the way I would like LeBron, D-Wade and Bosh would all suffer career-ending injuries in the first quarter of the first game. And watch Pat Riley find a way to wiggle himself back in as coach....he wouldn't make a wart on Phil Jackson's ass! I'm frankly so sick of hearing about it I may never watch another NBA game...
