Actually, that's pretty good advice if he wasn't friends with her MOM and she worked for him. That would be a good way to break the ice.

Thanks to all for the advice. GY6, you have more skills than I. While I will consider your advice, I'm leaning towards taking everyone else's advice. I knew that was the answer but hoped more would voice something similar to GY6's.

I agree with Lexxxy. I would never consider dating the daughter of a woman I'm friends with. You're asking for trouble. I don't have kids but if one of my buddies wanted to date my daughter I would not be happy.

As a business owner for forty years I remember what My first partner told Me way back when " never stick your pen in the company ink " and I never have but have wanted to on more than one occasion. I have had a couple of aucword situations whereby they have come on to me but being that I am no Tom Selleck I put two and two together real fast only to find out later that one was pitching for a raise and the other for a promotion. Booth left my firm shortly after and once again approached me in the same manor to be rehired. As a side note booth women in question had been let go from the jobs that they left me for due to the same practice.
