I don't like judging people either but there are times when reckless behavior needs to be called out. You can't help people if you're not honest with them. I don't think that is being sanctimonious.

Sorry Cowboy but I think that's exactly sanctimonious. How do we have the moral high ground to judge the choices of others? Many of us are cheating on spouses, paying to fuck "the children of the children that are having children" and performing what others may view as vile and lewd behaviors. It's easy to generalize that we're all just a bunch of scumbags. I don't think that's the case for us. (Well, at least most of us. haha)
Are some young women with children making poor choices? Perhaps. It's just that we shouldn't be so quick to assume or judge their decisions. We all have our own reasons for the shit we do. I believe us men should stay out of "saving" these women from their choices.

All my friends have ink and piercings and smart phones and babies, and I want those things too. The only problem is these kids grow up some day and most of them will become useless members of society. I commend the discussion. I guess I see your POV. Based on our own choices, are we validating destructive behaviors and patterns? The answer lies with each person's will to promote social justice.

To draw a somewhat similar parallel, I choose never to attend an AMP. I feel that my own consumerism would promote human trafficking and the forced slavery some women are put through. I just wouldn't sleep well at night but that's my own choice. I'm a sucker for that type of shit.
