I enjoy watching the Olympics on TV and cheering on the U.S. athletes. However, unlike previous Olympics, I no longer have access to the broader coverage by Canadian channels (after switching to Verizon FIOS two years ago). The coverage by NBC is so American-centric that we miss out on some of the best stories of the Games involving athletes from other countries.

I enjoy the CTV coverage of the Olympics, but they are becoming almost as nationalistic as NBC this time around. How many times can you watch that girl on the trampoline? It would be great to see the Canadian cable channels coverage; TSN, SN, etc. OH Canada! not just the hookers are better. LOL

Not just this year - whenever there is a big time difference (5 hours at London this year and 12 hours at Beijing in 2008).
