Syria's Chemical Weapons Came From Saddam's Iraq

War On Terror: As the regime of Bashar Assad disintegrates, the security of his chemical arsenal is in jeopardy. The No. 2 general in Saddam Hussein's air force says they were the WMDs we didn't find in Iraq.

King Abdullah of neighboring Jordan warned that a disintegrating Syria on the verge of civil war puts Syria's stockpile of chemical weapons at risk of falling into the hands of al-Qaida.

"One of the worst-case scenarios as we are obviously trying to look for a political solution would be if some of those chemical stockpiles were to fall into unfriendly hands," he said.

The irony here is that the chemical weapons stockpile of Syrian thug Assad may in large part be the legacy of weapons moved from Hussein's Iraq into Syria before Operation Iraqi Freedom.

If so, this may be the reason not much was found in the way of WMD by victorious U.S. forces in 2003.

how do I know?

if all of the constant testing uncovered one single trace of anything chemical wouldnt you think Bush would have been standing ON TOP of the fuckin White House telling the world all about it?

moving shit before the war doesnt stop a sophisticated machine from detecting trace elements in chemicals that previously existed ... nothing had been there and nothing was there, simple as that.

These are the same folks that do not believe that Obama was born in Hawaii.
If the Globe came out with a picture of Obama on Mars, these stupid SOB's would believe it.

I have quit tring to have a fact based discussion with these kooks, may I suggest you joining in on just making fun of them. I have found it so much more satisfying.

Now I gotta go check on an Elvis sighting that my lil Tea Nuts brothers called in!

Tell the truth WTF. Odumbo published an advertisement claiming he was born in Kenya. Then, when some people take him at his word, Odumbo and his pretentious supporters step back and point their condescending little fingers at the gullible and laugh. Who is worse? 1) the one who lied? or 2) the one's who believed what Odumbo said in his self-promotion advertisement?Quote:

Then if they were moved before the war, and if Saddam offered to let the inspectors WHICH HE DID, why spend trillions and trillions of dollars, kill over a hundred thousand people and destabilize the entire region and invade anyway? Because Saddam made Bush look bad? Bush made a sport of looking bad. Like when he invaded with an offer on the table to come look for the WMDs and then, well, THERE WEREN'T ANY ON IRAQI SOIL.Quote:

I just Googled Syria and WMD. This is what came up in the first page. Who says they do have them. Who says they have "Iraq's" WMDs. I kinda like the report from Zee News perhaps we are "whipping up support for a Syrian war". Syria may have them and they may not. Doesn't seem but speculation supporting the accusation of WMD's.
And no Doove, I didn't read all the reports. I was just looking for known, seemingly credible news sources. I just scanned the one from CNN.

I think Bush prayed every night that WMDs would be found, unfortunately God didn't answer his prayers. Believe me, any politician would have made a big fucking deal if they found WMDs, especially Bush. His Mission Accomplished banner would have been justified. Just like Obama paraded the fact that the Seals took out Bin Laden (like he had anything to do with it), when the extent of his participation was probably a "yes, take him out".

invading Pakistan, the chances of being shot down, or losing one or all of the seals during the raid, was Bin Laden really there ... enough serious factors to rule Palin out of the decision ... IMO it took some balls ... from any president
