This place is a disaster and the mods ARE NOT HELPING fix it one bit. As a matter of fact, the mods are facilitating the constant BS and drama. There are a lot of people here would would love to see this place work, but stop trying to place blame on individual groups with imaginary agendas and conspiracy theories. "Done with the pics" is probably overdue. But don't stop them entirely! They are pretty good, IMHO.

And to be honest, I dread more of your "straight shooting." At least in public. It was rarely productive and usually ended up exactly like this.... with you and me (and perhaps a small cast of others) dragging a thread off topic and trying to one-up each other. I don't miss it. And forgive me in advance if I don't participate after this.

This whole attitude of "disaster" in the Upstate NY domain and the premise that the Mods are neglecting their obligation to "fix" it is comical. But let's give it the benefit of the doubt and hope that the Chubster will be a positive influence! Treat him with a bit of respect and give him a bit of time to figure this all out, and it just may happen.

I would absolutely LOVE to see that happen, but right out of the gate was an epic fail for chub.

Don't get me wrong, it is not entirely all the mod(s) fault. Hell, I'll even take some of the blame, I'm not always Mr. Niceguy. But I have yet to see a single mod EVER say, "sorry guys, I fucked up and what I did has not helped the situation, but instead has hurt things". Just a little bit of contrition goes a long way. There are a lot of strong personalities here, all have their opinions. Not everyone has to agree. Debates are healthy, unfortunately at times, some people to not debate fairly and that is when things have gotten out of hand. Instead, all we ever hear is there is a "group" or "crew" with an "agenda". Come on, do you really think this is some kind of organized conspiracy? This whole "anti-mod" crew is laughable. No one is anti-mod, except when the mods do things that are plain stupid ie: the last day of chubby's posts/signatures. It seems like everyone is always trying to place labels on a single person or group of people and then play the victim. It is like these providers that have been chased off. OH PUHLEEASE! No one has chased anyone off. BB's list was laughable. Lets see an actual list with solid facts and proof. There is a small minority who is only vocal via PM's. They make these salacious claims without any basis in reality. People need to lighten up, especially the mods. It is an Internet message board. You can't take things OR YOURSELF too seriously.

It would also be nice if a mod(s) kept their word, but that is a whole other issue. I would not want to call anyone a hypocrite publicly.
