That is an interesting question...

ok.... i'm calling complete bullshit on this thread.

the OP posted in feb this stating he was being deployed in about 04/2012:

http://www.eccie.net/showthread.php?t=385753

he sure got some great offers of good deals from some providers that appreciated his service to the country.

but a couple months later he was posting the following:

http://www.eccie.net/showthread.php?t=441043

http://www.eccie.net/showthread.php?t=440367

http://www.eccie.net/showthread.php?t=471065

http://www.eccie.net/showthread.php?t=478139

and he stated this:

'many of you were kind to me when i was in the middle east and when i often went back for contract work'..

well soldiers don't go back to the middle east for 'contract work'...at least not if they are still soldiers.

but believe what every wanker here posts if you want.

maybe somebody remembers the guy that faked having cancer here a year or so ago.

hate to throw a turd in the punch bowl, but seriously. if i was gonna die in 3 months i sure as fuck wouldn't waste my time announcing it on eccie.

^^^ I didn't want to be the one to say it. I will say it now. I'm quite certain if one had terminal kidney disease there would be a medical discharge from any military branch in order. If not that, there certainly wouldn't be deployment orders issued. Before you get deployed you go through rigorous physicals take numerous shots etc etc. I was in a branch of the military for 4 years. It was a National Guard branch (part time like reserves). I never was deployed overseas, but I did go on a 2 week training deployment stateside. Before I could even go on this 2 week training we went through the same scrutiny that you would go through for being deployed overseas which was extensive. Let's put it this way. I had to get a cavity fixed just to go on the trip. So, I would say with near certainty that someone with kidney failure would not be sent anywhere overseas.

There's a bit more.

The deployment in April became a year long "trip overseas" starting in March (mentioned in yet another ISO).

Then, just over a week after that trip was to start there's another ISO because he's home a few days from working out of town.

And again in May and June he's, I assume, back again from working out of town because he has another ISO.

That doesn't mean this post isn't true, but the fact remains the past posting history doesn't add up. And with it starting with a thinly veiled attempt to get free or discounted sessions, which many providers offer, apparently under false pretenses, you'll have to excuse me for being skeptical.

My prayers and condolances are with you!!
I completely understand the "seize the day" mentality, I have always felt that I
Would rather live to be 60 and say I lived my life instead of living to be 100 and having never
Done ANYTHING!

GOOD LUCK and I pray it is a pain free next few months

Thumbs up

THIS THREAD IS BULLSHIT.

Juan Pablo nailed it up above. Yet, people are still wishing him well, probably because they skipped to the bottom of the thread.

This guy is looking for freebies, either pussy or money or both.

With 3 months to live, you will need all of your time and money to address health care issues.

In reality, no one in that situation will waste time or money hobbying - even if you think you would.

Mods, please close this thread after my post so that my comments are not lost in the middle. Let folks be warned about this guy, particularly providers.

I find it amusing that we haven't heard another word from the OP. And what a screwed up timeline. Wonder what the new handle will be? Soontobedeployedmarinedude? Or is that too many characters? Sorry for the ladies that got caught up in his covert activities.

Wow, y'all are so quick to cut a guy off at the knees. What if he's told the truth? It's possible that he just hasn't posted all the details that would have made his history make sense. I am all for calling out predators of any stripe but I don't believe the OP is a predator or a danger to this community. I say this because that is what this thread seems to have turned into.

This board has really changed from what it was even a couple of years ago.
