Obama Begging for Campaign Cash
Despite an unprecedented number of fundraisers, President Obama is still having trouble raising campaign cash. I guess people aren't as excited about him now that they know what he's like.

Apparently Obama is going to spend the fourth of July in France with George Clooney. I think that says it all. If he gets re-elected he'll probably spend the next fourth of July in Havana with Castro, or in Moscow with Putin.

No surprise since this is a COG post, but that is not what the article says at all.
Campaign fund-raising ebbs and flows. Romney is having an influx since it only recently became clear that he will be the nominee.
Here's a dose of reality regarding the numbers:

Responsible President
President Obama is not "begging for money" and only an idiot like the OP would post such nonsense, but then that is all he knows.
The old geezer just like to stir up shit as is well known on this board.
What President Obama is doing is just what any responsible President should be doing at this stage of the campaign.
He is fund raising as well he should since the Republicans in desperation are raising much more money than he is.
. . . However, I personally predict that President Obama will still win the election in November and it may be close, but it will be a decisive victory.

He's begging, FastGoon. It isn't coming in like he wants it to. He's already done more fundraisers than the last 3 presidents combined, or close to it. He's running scared, and he should be.

That's what happens when a President who ran as a liberal governs as a moderate. His fans tell him to go pound sand. Frankly, I wish that either Bernie Sanders or Dennis Kucinich had run against him in the primaries. I don't think the Whitehouse still gets how pissed off we are. They just think we'll vote for him anyway (yes, we will) and that we'll hold our nose and give our money despite his moderate stances (well, sort of; we'll give our little bit, and maybe make a few calls, but we're not going to bust our ass bundling like we did last time.) Politics is what have you done for me lately. And frankly, he hasn't done shit for me. I want a fighter as my candidate, not a fucking doormat who walks around kissing Republican's asses with a "KIck Me" sign taped to his butt.

Tight Rope
You want a fighter in the White House?
What do you think he's been doing by dismantling Al-Qaeda and taking down Osama bin Ladin, playing tiddly-winks?
The truth is that a President has to be extremely careful and walk a tight-rope in order to naviagate throught the treacherous waters of Global Politics.
Regardless of what any President does, he is going to piss certain people off and he needs to be guided by his own moral compass, not the shifting sands of public approval.
. . . He has turned this country around since he has been in office and he has my vote and confidence that he will win the election in November!

Yeah, but when he chooses to piss off the people who worked their ass off and raised and ton of money for him to run last time, he can't then claim surprise when they don't do the same four years later. The general idea behind politics is you make the people who worked for you happy, not the ones who worked against you. He's got my one check, he apparently didn't give a shit about what I thought for the last four year, so fuck him. Let the damned insurance industry that he loves so fuckin' much finance his campaign. Let all those Republican cocksuckers that he was trying to appease by cutting the stimulus finance his campaign. I'm going to vote for him. And I gave a little bit. But I didn't get what I wanted, so he's not getting what he wants. And I have told relatively senior members of the campaign staff just this in damn near these very words. And they're hearing it from a lot of Democrats.
