It's possible for the mailing list to turn suddenly bad also. Say a single guy has a relationship status change and forgets about the mailing list...

I would like to think there would be enough time for him to remember before snoop mode sets in.

I agree that you need to politely make it clear that it is hobby related and you should have a way to be certain that it isnt a problem for them to be contacted. I am single so I dont mind additional contact, but to be honest it doesnt really make me more likely to see the girl. But, if you think you two clicked I have a hard time thinking they didnt have fun also.

I guess I don't see the harm. Anybody can get free email so if you don't have a hobby email account, and discretion is required, you are inviting disaster. I also can't imagine somebody emailing me and expecting a freeby out of it. To me, that is just ridiculous. Email away. I'm good.

Having myself received an email or two requesting me for a providers personal pleasure, I can imagine it. There are also a few girls that are a little too good at making me feel like they want me. I have never showed up confused on the status of session, but I could actually see how it could happen.

It is not from the hobby, but there was a stripper once that invited me for OTC and got offended when I thought she ment for pay. She was known for extras. This was my mistake in the opposite direction that you mention, but it isnt always clear what a girl wants and when $ is involved is should at least be subtly mentioned.

Excellent point BR - and Angel incase you are not sure of the intent. The lady invited br222 to to an (OTC) off the clock meeting. A freebie would be the other term? And there was confusion on the intent. So he is suggestion that you clarify if it an OTC session. You might include:

SPECIAL RATE APPLIES FOR THIS VISIT
STANDARD RATE APPLIES FOR THIS VISIT
THIS VISIT IS OTC

...as a part of the message sent.

...and ofcouse if you send multiple messages at the same time, always do the clients as BCC so the clients do not see the emails of other invites.

I almost always email a provider telling her what a great time I had with her and hopes of seeing her again soon! While I don't expect the same from the provider, I always deeply appreciate the ones I get.

I may not be one of the cute ones but I'd dance with you anytime, anywhere, anyway. You have my complete permission to email me anytime about anything. In fact, I believe,if I'm not mistaken, you owe me an email.

Maybe a PM thru ECCIE would be safer?

Personally I would like to receive a PM or email from a provider I clicked with, it would be soothing for the ego. Having said that, my ego is down to earth enough that I don't think I would mistake it for being OTC.

I can see how that could be a problem though.

Personally I do not mind if the email. However, I had a provider send out notification that she was going into retirement, The -email came through with every client in her pc. In short she outed her contact list.

What burns me is when a provider calls out opf the blue and then gets "deeply offend" when you can not talk and have to politely blow her off.

Both incidents support the concept of using a hobby phone and a hobby email account.

Guys who dont use hobby email or hobby phones... are obviously looking to get caught.
Guys who use regular phones because they are single and no worries.. dont think of the consequences down the line, if they were to get in a relationship.
ALWAYS have a hobby email and phone.

And ladies should never send out emails in groups.. duh! I dont care if you have to send out 200 individual emails...respect privacy. Plus its just more personal if you send out individuals.

Well, I don't use a hobby phone. For those that use a hobby phone (and have an SO), where do you keep it? Seems more difficult to try and explain why I had a 2nd phone. The few ladies I have seen are all true professionals, understand discretion, and know not to blast calls or texts to me if I'm not expecting them.

On the other hand, why wouldn't a guy have a hobby e-mail? As easy as the hotmail, gmail, and whatevermail accounts are to set up and access, there's no reason to not separate your hobby e-mails from regular life. So, if a lady wants to send me an e-mail saying she needs a lickin', she can knock herself out.

What concerns me more, frankly, is a misguided expectation that, since a lady is coming back to town, you need to see her when she's here. Luckily for me, those that I have seen and have returned have been good about understanding my recent need to be "out of commission" during their respective travels into town, and there isn't that sense of betrayal in not seeing them. As the saying goes, real life gets in the way sometimes.
