If you are determined that he was so "out of line" by PM'ing you outside your stated hours you work, then why the heck did you bother to read it? I get emails all night long in the real world, and I read them in the morning, they don't bother me a bit. If I were selling goods or services I would welcome electronic communications at any time, as long as they were not phone calls or texts which might disturb me.

The recent posters are absolutely correct, you are turning off prospective clients by your attitude. You are a hottie from your pics, but nobody is hot enough to overcome a bad attitude.

I personally have been trying to see Samantha for a long time but her during the day schedule is hard for me to work with. I have not given up and am looking forward to spending time with her. From all of the messages back and forth, I feel as though she is a great upstanding gal worthy of more respect from what she has recieved here. I think the JOHN should have found some BP chick at 1 AM, or there are others that post late hours. Samantha has her available hours posted plain as day.

Keep in mind guys that DNS LIST works both ways. Based on the rude response and disrespectful 'attitude' some of you have conveyed on this thread, I have a few more names to add to my ASSCLOWN HALL OF FAME. My rules are my rules. They are in place for the safety of my clients as well as myself, and more importantly, my sanity. They are very clearly posted in my ads, profiles, and on my website. I think we are still talking apples and oranges here, there is a huge difference between PM'ing a provider outside of her stated hours and being intrusive with a phone call or text in the middle of the night.

If every bit of minutiae MUST be specified in the contact info, I guess the OP should add "Do NOT PM or email me outside of my regular business hours". Is this how you conduct your real-life business Hayden? It's your choice, but seems a bit odd. If this gets me on your "ASSCLOWN HALL OF FAME" list, so be it, but I just don't think the client deserves all this 'piling on' for sending a PM.

What part do u guys not understand? She isnt bitching about getting the pm late at night. She is upset that a guy would ask to see her within an hour at 1am ! Like we are all awake just waiting for a 1am booking with just an hour or less heads up for screening and preparing... when her hours are clearly stated on her site that she is not available at that hour. She isnt upset that she got a pm or email at that time.. its the fact that the idiot expected her to be sitting there ready to drop everything and see him in less than an hour. IT HAS NOTHING TO DO WITH THE ACTUAL PM. I get PMs all the time late at night, usually because thats the only time a guy can get away from the SO. Its the point that he wanted to book for that hour!

Some of us are not so desperate that we wait all day and night for ANYONE to pm us and come see us in 30 minutes. Some of us actually have real lives! Some of us actually like to shower and get ready prior to appts. Some of us actually screen!!

Lacy, your ranting is pathetic. This was just a newbie mistake, and he has learned his lesson and moved on. Six months from now your 'idiot' might be one of the most well-respected members on the board, with lots of lady friends.

I have no earthly idea why the OP hasn't asked a mod to close this...smdh...

The mod sent me a pm complimenting me of the way I handle myself in this post. They felt no need to close it because it is a velid concern and no drama. But if they ever want to close it, I don't mind.

A better idea would be to have a hobbyist-provider etiquette sticky at the top. This is just one of many subjects that could be covered.

But if a mod wants this to keep rising to the top, rather than be closed and fall to the bottom, who am I to complain?

I recommend the delete key for all sorts of unwanted correspondence. It is fast, easy, and requires little thought. It is almost as much fun as shredding.
