Some politicians will try to grab attention at any opportunity by saying anything. Now Senator Chuck Grassley of Iowa is making headlines with the off-the-wall suggestion that the Colombian prostitutes might be Russian spies!

The hobbying activities of American servicemen abroad are widely known and even celebrated. Unfortunately, revelations of similar activities of Americans on diplomatic assignments have not been so favorably received. In addition to Colombia, there are new scandals in El Salvador and in Brazil.

Yeah, and the Special Agent listed in the local college's alums. This college is one of the most conservative in the area--no dancing, no drinking, etc. As a friend said when she went to a similar college, the only thing left for the students to do was to "screw in the back seats of their cars."
