Veronica I think you completely miss the point, but I appreciate your input. The OP asked if anyone else got the type of treamtent he described? Not trying to hurt anyone, just stating his opinion and his thoughts, nothing wrong with that. He also wanted to know if anyone else got that reatment for her and as you can see the asnwer is a resounding "Yes."

Each person make sup his own mind. trust me, this is not the firs tthread about Annie's behavior, she has weathered storms before, she will be just fine.

Maybe I am missing the point of your post Veronica, idk. But seems to me that you suggest these men should take her name calling, rudeness, and verbal abuse and shut up about it!! Really? So, a man can call you names, be rude to you, and verbally abuse you and you will remain quiet and just not call??!! Another lady contacts you for a reference on this man and you will not discuss his verbal abuse? Really? I am not buying that one Veronica.

Annie is the maker of her own doom. I do not see ANY threads about Dallas Rain being rude, impolite, name calling. Wanna know why? She is a polite lady that has a wonderful attitude. So, if Annie were not rude, name calling, abusive, etc. etc. no threads would ever start, simple.

I will not take rudeness, name calling, etc. from anyone and use their business, period. I have not started a thread concerning her demenaor but when someone asks, I will tell them my experience. That is the purpose of this website, information!!!!

If you don't know by NOW, that's just part of dealing with Annie, like it or not. Everyone knows that. Saying "BREAKING NEWS: boo hoo Annie called me a name and was rude to me." is like saying, "THIS JUST IN: Water still wet."

She's not going to hold her tongue or pretend to like people she doesn't. I know many providers wish they had that luxury HA!

However, all the whining about and calling attention to this "OMG NEW INFORMATION, Y'ALL!" is just bringing her more attention. Which I'm sure she appreciates. No storm to weather... no impending doom. This has been Annie's M.O. since she first started up. Just like ECCIE members rehashing the same topics over and over into the ground again has been going on since the Triassic.

Gee... while we're at it, "What's with the no black men policy of random provider #14384" and "Rates... they sure are high, am I right guys?"

So you think it is OK for her to berate guys because she has "always done it and thats just her"? Not me. I think you treat people with respect and you get respect. As soon as you don't, you loose all respect and a lot of business. If respect and business isn't important, then I understand. That being said, I have always respected Annie because she has lasted and has a wonderful product. She has always treated me with respect, but I have seen how she has gotten after other guys. Everyone has to make their own mind up.

I know there's board members that get up in arms over providers that post outside of the ads for attention, (cough) advertising (cough) but are there providers who aren't happy with hobbyists who like to open up a discussion to possibly vent their frustration over how they were treated? With all due respect to you Outdoorsman...I really don't see where four members is a resounding *YES* especially, when you consider how many members contact her in a given day.

I understand respect begets respect, but that goes both ways. Some hobbyists don't take into consideration that WE (providers) are human, and have our quirks and own personalities. Providers deal with all kinds of personalities...you can't even begin to image what we put up with. And, NO...no amount of money should make it OK to be disrespected...man-handled...berated... bullied...and called names!

And, I can't imagine ANY hobbyist complaining about a person who's only looking out for your BEST INTEREST...no matter what her tone of voice was. Could she have said it better...apparently, in your opinion...yes, but consider the alternative. If she only wanted the money...she would have just shut her mouth and taken your money.

Then what...you would have had a horrible experience........and, complained to her, or about her ANYWAY! She doesn't win either way...and, some days...that's what we have to deal with! Then, some of you guys wonder why we get grumpy! (lol)

Annie is just Annie.. love her or hate her, but that is who she is. You guys seriously have no clue what we put up with. And like Heidi said, a good bit of the BS is from the men on our own NOLA board. I would assume over the years she has to be tired of it all. I hear what you ladies are saying, sometimes you have to hear a lot of crap from potential clients. I understand and can see how that is frustrating, but the thread asked if anyone else got rude treatment from Annie. And if we want to discuss the woes of being a provider I will be glad to give my limited input there as well. I have never and never do barter, attack, threaten, etc. Etc. I am a gentleman, simple. So, I cannot really relate to what you ladies are saying. Some of ladies on this site have dealt with me and they know my demeanor, not even Annie complained about my behavior the one time I did call her. And my experience with Annie is limited to one experience, simply because I will not call her again.

I cannot comment on like or dislike of Annie, I do not know her, except for her continued rudeness toward me in her posts. And Annie please stop the name calling, I respect your opinion and comments but the name calling is unwarranted.
