Best Burger in San Antonio?
http://mysa.upickem.net/upickem/regi...ontestid=50872
I saw this on Mysanantonio.com, and I vaguely recall this from last year, or maybe the year before. I've heard Chris Madrid's thrown around a lot for best burger, (RIP Chris) but what is everyone's personal favorite? I'm a burger-fiend myself, but I have cut back drastically with my resolve to lose weight, and get in shape. It's no fun now, but will pay huge dividends in the future I hope!
I like Porky's (they're not on the list) for a decently-priced, greasy, old-fashioned hamburger, and EZ's always has a nostalgic place in my heart because I've been going there since I was little. What is everyone's favorite, and which would vote for?
Oh and to end the post on a good note, I give you gratuitous photos of sexy women eating burgers, and errr...fat dudes eating hamburgers. Sorry ladies; the market for photos of hunky men chowing down on fatty goodness is (not surprisingly) very limited! I guess I'll have to photograph myself at these restaurants to supply the internet....

Damn Dennis! That does look good. I love the BBQ sauce/onion ring combo on a burger. And good call on Fuddruckers Spursfan. I especially love their new soda machines with 200+ flavors!

I like to treat myself to a burger from Burger Boy located on N. St Mary's at Dewey. Chris Madrid is great too. Hooters has a nice burger. When every other burger joint is closed, I like to treat myself to a late night char broiled burger at Jim's. Luthers burgers on Main st are great. Just like the charcter Wimpy from Popeye, I like my burgers.

Like Five Guys, but wish they had a few more choices for cheese to go on the burger. For a cheap burger it is tough to beat the 99¢ McDouble but overall I'd probably have to pick Cheesy Janes as the place to go cause those malts they serve compliment the rest so well.

For drive through, I like the Burger King Texas Double Whopper, with mustard (no mayo), and no onions. For a sit down, with a cold beer, Sam's Better Burger, Longhorn Cafe, or Chris Madrids.
There is a new place on Fredericksberg Road, Danny Boys. And you can byob. A quiant little hole in the wall.
But thanks Marcus for enlightening me to this contest, and the list it provides to broaden my horizens.

I second Whataburger, can't beat it for a drive through or quick burger. Also like Fuddrucker's and Longhorn Cafe.
I also like Fattboy, you can have it any way you want it, and Tycoon Flats has a good burger, I get the Signature Burger.

I agree with Fuddruckers, Longhorn, Red Robin, and Five Guys, pretty good burgers.
It's been a while, but I remember the Cove having a pretty good bison burger. I also like the Lord's Kitchen, they have pretty good seasoning.
As for fast stuff, Whataburger is #1 for me, then a Texas Whopper from BK, and then a Wendy's burger.
