				 Document dump: Solyndra/Fast and Furious

Document dump this weekend from the White House and DOJ.
Explicit warnings about the insolvency of Solyndra were ignored by the White House and DOE. Backed them with another 75 million after the warning was given. White House event planner warned to keep Obama away from Solyndra executives.

New information from DOJ has firearms smuggling suspect (confidential informant according to DOJ) in custody six months before death of Agent Terry. Intervention by DOJ allowed his release and he further deportation of 1,000 weapons. No evidence that this CI gave up any information and there has been no discernible investigation at DOJ. DOJ refuses to release results of investigation until it is complete but there seems to be no investigation to complete.

there seems to be no investigation to complete?

there didnt seem to be an investigation when the FBI was building a case against the mob, and stacked up evidence for months at a time either.

Do we really trust the DOJ to investigate itself? I think we need a special prosecutor.

It spells out 'obfuscation' by the DOJ.

"[T]he Justice Department is still far from compliance with lawful congressional subpoenas . Republican Rep. Darrell Issa , chairman of the House Committee on Oversight and Government Reform , has subpoenaed 80,000 pages of documents concerning Fast and Furious. Holder has only provided about 7,000 pages . . .
"Issa has laid the groundwork to hold Holder in contempt of Congress i n the near future if he doesn’t comply with the subpoenas.

"Frieden also reported that few of the documents Holder dumped on Congress are actually related to Fast and Furious ."

			Congress wants documents.
Holder says he can't or won't give them up until they complete a DOJ investigation.

There seems to be no investigation to complete.

End result, Holder doesn't have to give up documents and is in contempt of Congress.

An investigation would generate paperwork that Congress would get but they are not getting the documents so there must be no investigation. If there is an investigation by the DOJ then where are the documents?

 baked again eh Prof?

documents are from 2007, maybe the AG and the DOJ are trying to protect Bush or his Cartel.

Again, we need a special prosecutor. Holder cannot objectively investigate himself.

CJ let me explain something to you. You keep calling me prof which is your feeble attempt to belittle what I do (and I guess all teachers). A "professor" had a doctorate and I have never said that I had a doctorate. I am a masters candidate which means I teach and go to class occassionly. When I become a "prof", I will let you know.

He is mocking you because you and others, such as cog, tout your “professions” as sources of credibility for your statements. I too question your ability to effectively teach someone when instead of exhibiting basic writing skills, factual research and proofreading skills that should be held up as an example to be followed, they are instead examples to be avoided.
This has nothing to do with your opinions and whether or not I agree or disagree with them. And while it’s easy to say that this is just a hooker board, the fact remains few people consciously change their writing styles for different audiences. Vocabulary maybe, but not style.
With cog it’s just that he seems to know nothing about due process, he shows no respect for a legal system he worked under for most of his adult life, and he ignores the method/process that is used to interpret the US Constitution.Quote:
