I do adore shaving men, as long as they trust me. If they don't, they tend to move around and that's when the nicks start to happen.
Mike....I do believe hair is making a comeback. I've seen many pics of ladies with more hair.

Just to address the "burning" thing, it has never burned me. Yes, I am careful, in that I try not to get it on the head of my penis. I usually put on a condom -- a crappy one I'd never use for sex -- but sometimes I'll just use a piece of toilet paper to shield it. I would also never use it on my asshole. It hasn't been uncomfortable or irritating at all, much less burning.
Maybe different people have different sensitivities or tolerances. I'm kind of a wimp when it comes to pain, so I don't think it is because I'm a tough guy or anything. Maybe the scalp is more sensitive. I don't know. but if you are worried about burning or irritation, try a bit on your wrist or thigh. It works!

I prefer a guy trimmed personally. Much like I have a landing strip,
That being said, if you have a steady hand using a DE razor (any Merkur is my recommendation) is the way to go. I don't understand all of this 5 blade vibrating crap honestly. A DE razor is a better shave less often. I can understand not wanting to take one to your balls unless you know what you're doing but that's why they made lemons to practice on . If you have an issue with razor burn or ingrown hairs, use unscented deodorant (ban rollon) on the area immediately afterwards.
I personally use an electric razor on everything and then a single bladed razor on the goods and below. I have extremely sensitive skin so if I try to smooth shave or wax everything (besides the strip) the way I used to, I end up with oh about 25 ingrown hairs maybe more. I've tried everything from TendSkin to the band trick to making my own homemade TendSkin to crying to my waxer to fix this but it's just my skin type.
I figure if I take some time off I can let the goods grow out and get a wax THERE (no problems there, only the top and inside of my thigh area, everything else behaves) and be super smooth And no, waxing doesn't hurt as bad as you'd think. I found 10 seconds of tattooing to be worse than an entire wax session. You just need a fast and skilled waxer.

I use the Mach3 and have for years. Also to keep from getting razor burn, you can rub your deodorant on the area then take a towel rub excess off. Old dancer trick.

Yeah I got the trick from a stripper too actually It makes perfect sense. The one place most women NEVER have razor burn/ingrowns is the underarm. I don't know about others but as soon as I'm dry that's the first thing to go on. Makes perfect sense.
I keep ban unscented roll on for this purpose as I don't really want my vagina to smell like flowers.

Since no one has mentioned it, I've used a Seiko Cleancut for years and it works perfectly. (Kind of like a battery powered Norelco rotary).
http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00...d_i=B000CMTWQ4
It won't cut long hairs, so the first time you have to use a blade and shaving cream, but after that literally 30 seconds a day with the Seiko will keep everything smooth as silk. Maybe once a month I use a triple blade razor and Edge to fight back grass that has crept in from the edges.

Guys, and perhaps gals too, let me tell ya about a totally cool shaver a stripper friend of mine gave me as a gift several years. It is totally niche or cut free, and has kept me "baby smooth" for years. Once a year I buy a new one off a Amazon.com...but hell you might be able to get it at Walmart. (But I strongly recommend this particular product. There are others similiar to this one, but I know for a fact that this brand has quality to keep ya bare free....no cuts, no hassles, and hardly any "upkeep" time).
The shaver is called "Body Bare". Product Number AFPR-103, rechargeable razor. And that is the Product number, not some Amazon number.
Once you have shaven down....there is another "Body Bare" shaver to help you get to the point where you can start using this one....don't need it anymore, but when this was given to me as a gift...both products were in one box.
Real, real simple. About every 3 days, after hoping out of the shower, I cover the area with some baby powder...spend about 5 minutes with this product and BAAM...smooth as a baby's ass...not BS at all.
The ladies will appreciate it, you'll get a kick out of it....and the whole world of BBBJ's will never, every be the same.
Try it out....it is truly a game changer!!!

Razor, shaving cream or condition (for hair, it works wonders) and I'm sure you can think of something to give me.

What seems interesting is that both of the above products use talc or powder as their lube, and very much REQUIRE a preshave with a proper razor. They will NOT remove long hairs, but once you have the hair under control and use them reguarly, they result in a pretty good shave with no ingrown hairs or bumps.
These days, the shaved kitty sees to hold sway, though I like a landingstrip or French cut. Ladies that have multiple ingrown hairs are more of a turn off than hair, in my opinion, as is bad stubble.
Now to see if I can convince my regular partner to try this all out....

I swear by those pads. Although there is no way possible to ever stop an ingrown hair from happening short of having lazering done, those pads do help immensely.
