Outcalling hotels
I'd like to ask any of you ladies, do you feel more discomfort going to an outcall at a hotel? I would if I were you... Even though I'm sure many of you have done so, I would not call you silly for being extra paranoid about it... Would you have more comfort going to certain hotels over others?

I don't worry overmuch about it. I would not meet someone at any of the grosser places (Bluebird anyone?) but as long as it is clean, I'm good to go.

I'm a little nervous if it's someone I've never seen before but clients I've seen, I have no qualms about going to meet them at a hotel. A DECENT hotel. LOL.

If you know what you're doing, an outcall to a decent hotel is the easiest to screen . . . . If you're LOCAL and in a hotel in your home city, it screams "red flag" - especially if I have an incall a few miles down the road. Even if you're stuck in the hotel for business or because the ball and chain busted you and booted you out - it makes more sense for you to drive to my incall where I am at ease (preferably you'll cross a State line to do so - a lot of us use the State line to our advantage [jurisdictional boundaries being crossed, etc. - rarely are there mulch-jurisdictional operations - usually only one or two a year and some of us get advance warning of those]). Stuck without a car? I'll send one if you're booking two or more hours.

I have an example for you Jackie. I live in St. Joseph, which I have made clear several times. If I wanted a provider to come see me here I would have to get a hotel room. I wouldn't be able to see a provider in my home. Is this considered okay in your book or would this seem out of place?

I don't see how it matters Mr. Monk - What is okay in my book specific to your situation isn't really relevant - you're not my client. And, as you've stated many times that which you are and are not comfortable sharing with a lady for screening purposes, we'll never have to worry about it . . .
But, to be polite and answer your question - yes, "this would seem out of place" and I would decline or obtain the location myself.
- Jackie

I never said I wouldn't provide anything for screening, I said I wouldn't provide my full name, date of birth, or place of employment. That doesn't seem unreasonible to me. However, I respect the decision to want to provide the location yourself. I simply figured if a room was needed up here a provider would force me to pay for it. Yes I have references, and yes I will give them out so I don't see the issue.

Brilliant. Thanks for the answers... I get the hometown n hotel thing... I do... I also get Ken's issue, getting a hotel in your hometown...there are things like roommates and the like that could put a damper on your good time... I always wondered since I've had difficulty if I've gone into a new town and wanted to have some company... I've had many a girl hang up on me... I've also had one girl tell me, "oh, your hotel is too nice for you to be a cop," which I thought was asinine... Tell me. Do any of you have qualms about the Ameristar? I am sure I have seen one provider work out of that location...

LE can work out of casino hotel rooms too. Basically, don't assume that because a hotel is in a certain area or is known as upscale or expensive, that it's not going to be a sting. Everyone says that screening is not a sure way to stay out of trouble, but it sure beats the alternative which is not screening at all and taking unnecessary risks that jeopardize your well being or freedom.

Amen. A casino is one of the dodgier places in my opinion because they also have their own security looking for "ladies of the hour".
I have a list of hotels I will visit, and a list of places I won't. I have the proper attire, shoes, and coat to fit in at a 4 or 5 star hotel. I have never been stopped or removed. Knock on wood. It's really about fitting in.
In other cities, I usually only offer incall or with great references a residential outcall.

I get the whole hotel thing in a hometown as well, is it odd...well maybe, but a lot of people actually will do a staycation and stay in town. Now if you're booking a room at a $40 a night location, yeah, big red flag, but if you're getting a nice room at a nice place, many do that. The smaller the town the odder it would seem, but in a town like KC, people book rooms all the time for a guys night or girls night out and take the party back to the room. The odd thing is, you'd be surprised at the number of people in St. Joe who actually book rooms for the weekend and live there.

Traffic
These days a lot of traffic for any extended period draws attention imo. However if everyone is cool, discreet and behaves themselves it can make a big difference.
