I've been kicking around an idea for a group ride... not exactly a poker run but a reason for a bunch of people to get together and ride all over DFW from various cool place to various cool place.

I'm going to organize this, that's a definite. It already has a cool name and t-shirts ready to go.

Here's what I'm wanting to know:

Are there any Hobbyist or Providers interested?
Are there any of you that have a place in mind that should be a stop on this route?

I'm thinking the ride will at least 138miles total, 69 x 2... but that's still part of the planning.

I'm in, wherever you decide to go! The weather is just perfect for it, too. You could always go to Texoma...it's about the distance you are talking about, and you could stop at Pompanos @High Point Marina before heading back. If it's just the DFW area you want to be in, definitely make Stroker's one of your stops. Can't forget Reno's Chop Shop, either.

(Just an aside: I'm going to Austin with my biker friends for Marley Fest soon...so far we have a total of 6 bikes going down there if anyone else has a hankerin' to go: http://austinreggaefest.com/)

Sounds like fun, I do not have a Cool Harley or a go fast, but do love to ride...

Also have a spare seat for a lovely lady to saddle up on...

This is an all 2/3 wheeled vehicles welcome group. As long as it's something that can get on the highway, it's welcome.

Vespas, Harleys, Hondas, Spyders, bring'em on.

Depends on the where and when, but I'm always looking for an excuse to ride. Strokers is a must!

yeah, Strokers and I'm trying to think of some other ideas for places that are fairly open minded and fun. sort of like the Rockers vs. Mods ride that just happened.

I would be interested. While I don't have a motorcycle (or a Vespa yet), I'm ready to 'ride the wind' with any gentleman that wouldn't mind me riding with him!
