Whispers at least you're being realistic about it. There really is no point in trying to argue a common sense issue when denial is at play.
Common sense: If a frame is carrying a much larger load than it is designed to carry it will wear down and break much faster than similar frames carrying a much lighter load.
An individual who remotely cares about their car or body won't wait until it breaks down and is permanently damaged to consider reducing the load and stress they are placing upon it.
Whether we're talking cars, red wagons or the human body it's basic physics.
For her to use the argument "I'll wait till it breaks before I worry about it" makes about as much sense as the smoker claiming he'll wait till he is diagnosed with cancer before thinking about quitting.
By the time the body shows signs the damage is DONE. Joints are worn out, arteries are clogged, spine discs are compressed and damaged etc..
All doctors can do at that point is take her money and stick her on expensive pills with worse side effects than the symptoms they're supposedly treating.
They can't UNDUE the damage.
When someone is obese and defends being obese it is the exact same logic used by the chain smoker. They will ONLY learn the hard way so that is how it must be.
Getting back to the thread topic it comes down to how physically attracted mongers are in general to providers who clearly don't give a rat's ass about their own bodies. Obviously some are but I bet it's mostly those mongers who also don't give a rat's ass about their own bodies.
