Just a general question i have about credit cards

Ok gentlemen if you could pay with credit cards would you do it? Just curious cause I got one that reads from our phone..you set it up with your own comany name etc...if you could use a credit card with a provider would you do it or stick to the old fashion method ? Just curious....Give me your feed back

just a question guys calm down...lol....we do get asked a lot but i also got one for my business so it only shows up 3 letters on a statement but i was just curious

You need to think about yourself first of all. You'll have to claim that money on your taxes, plus you'll need to tell whatever CC company you wish to do business with what line of work you're in. Must CC transaction companies are going to charge you a much higher rate. Which means you either eat that fee yourself or raise your rates to cover that fee.

You'll also have to worry about chargebacks. There's more chargebacks in the adult industry than any other. You'll have to make sure you have the guys DL info and signature.

I've been asked maybe twice if I take CCs. Its not worth the headache and I prefer no paper trail.

I UNDERSTANDALL THAT I HAVE A LEGIT TAX ID NUMBER LLC THE WHOLE NINE...I GOT THIS FOR MY OTHER BUSINESS BUT WAS JUST WONDERING WHAT THE FEEDBACK WAS ON IT..I KNOW I HAVE HAD A LOT OF REQUEST EVEN FROM REGULARS ABOUT IT....JUST GETTING FEEDBACK

^^^So what is the point of this blog then....you are getting requests from regular clients...then just deal with your regular clients.

sheesh...it's not rocket science...I wouldn't trust anyone unless they were a regular client.

And I'm sure you would be totally honest and upfront in handling your credit charges...so please don't take this the wrong way. However, perhaps I'm just old school but.....

Cash = good .............................. ...........credit cards & checks = bad for all parties involved.

Claim that you didn't provide the service promised
Dispute the charge.
What you you going to do, claim you provided an illegal service?

I thought all you girls kept accounting entries for every transaction, all of your expenses related to the business, etc.

You have to have the accounting right to satisfy the IRS.

There once was an nice place called Sunny's in Springfield, MO that did not turn in the proper tax returns and withholding payments for the girls. IRS took over the property. I never did learn where everyone went after that happened.

The largest single reason that most US businesses fail is because they get crosswise with the IRS over employee withholding and employer wage contributions. Credit card receipts are used to estimate the total income of many businesses.
