I really miss ASPD. It was an adult board for adults. The past year or so, I have seen this board increase in alerts on providers that have pimps and hobbyist that present a threat to providers. The quality of it's members and the tone of this board has degenerated to about an 8th grade level. Much more negativity than ASPD ever had. All of this seems to have begun with the influx of bp and craigs list folks. This is no longer an adult board for adults and it is no longer fun. If the movers and shakers of this board do not change the tone of eccie, it will cease to exist as a place for adults to share in the hobby. The adults will go elsewhere, leaving the children to run this place into the ground.

The OP invited you to be one such 'mover and shaker' and you declined, choosing instead to be one of the very whiners you bemoan in your post. This board is what you make it, nothing more, nothing less. I agree with you, it is not ASPD. In many ways, it is better. Regardless, any community is what it's citizens make it. You've made a sophmoric attempt to dumb it down. Fail.
