Spurs off to a good start
I thought the Spurs played well tonight. A little sloppy at times, but considering the short training camp, and only 2 games for pre-season, they did pretty well. The new guys did alright too. Youngest over all team in years may help us continue to win in the long run. Keeping the core together instead of trading for different players may be a good thing this season. I think some of the teams that made big changes by adding big name players may have hurt their team effort/playing ability while we kept ours mostly intact. Go spurs.

If we were not so Geriatric last year we would have killed the grizzlies...then who knows? Im glad we are youthful. We have needed for YEARS a few young guys who can do some highlight reel stuff around the rim..

I didn't get to see the game but from the highlights it seemed like TJ Ford got some action, that's a good sign...I like that kid.

A great record in the regular season means nothing if they don't show up in the playoffs.
This short season will be a plus for them.
