newbie question
Is it o.k. to ask a provider over the phone if her pictures in bp ad are legit? Or will I be hung up on?

If she hangs up, wouldn't that answer your question? Potentially fake pics are an inherent trait of trolling BP, in my opinion. Whereas, the pics in the showcases of KC's finest ladies right here on this board are much more accurate!
The other option is to schedule the meeting and upon arrival if you don't like what you see, say, "No thanks" and walk away. Keep the big head thinking until the path is cleared for landing.

Good input scorpio... partly that is because putting up pictures on here that are NOT of you and claiming they are, can get your VP status revoked and your showcase removed. We don't take kindly to false advertisement around these parts.

I'm being serious. When I get asked a question like that, I stop communicating. Its the sort of question a newbie who does not know what they are doing would ask, and at some point if they don't learn to do a little research, they are going to wind up wearing bracelets. When that happens, I don't want to be one of the ladies he has been to see. Silver bracelets tend to induce diarrhea of the mouth.

I was thinking i would save everyone some time. Do my own screening.I have had three appts. since getting back into the hobby, two were dead on, one was completely not the girl in the pics. I walked away mostly because it spooked me, but she was not happy. Thanks sinsoftheflesh for your reply I was wanting a providers output on this and you set me straight.

With so many ladies using fake pics, I don't see the harm in asking that question. I've been asked it numerous times and most of the guys who've asked have turned out to be wonderful clients.
Its in the manner of how you ask. Too many guys have been burnt by chicks using fake pics and its only fair that they ask if they feel there's a chance it might be fake. Of course that shouldn't be the case with ladies who are well known in their area or have reviews somewhere. Research is your best friend.
As for the Humbert handle, maybe its his last name or name of a friend? Not that many people probably even know who Humbert is unless you've read the book, saw the movie and did research on it.
Personally, I don't see the red flag there.
