It certainly depends on your audience. I think most of us are pretty qccepting of each other. In other company I would expect it to be about the same. However, I haven't seen Tiger's ladies criticized nearly as much as he has been.

I feel like society would be a little more okay with the guys "participating" than the ladies because they would more than likely chalk it up to: "boys will be boys" sort of thing.

Both are OK. For me the truly only acceptable condition associated with your question is, "being with an escort." "Been with," past tense is not acceptable. Leads to a currently horny condition. Present is highly preferred. For example for me been with last night. Horny today. LOL

Seriously, in society it seems obvious that been with is more accepted. I am not sure why. Both did the same thing. One for a living, sometimes to support family or others. The other person has only the justification that he wanted to have fun. How screwed up is that thinking. Personally, the fact that a woman is or has been a provider neither increases nor decreases my respect for her as a woman. I have dated providers (indy to AMP)from time to time over the last 20+ years. The reasons that it did not work out had nothing to do with her business.
