to me it looks like Miller tried to elbow Lucic in the chest or neck. But Lucic did elbow Miller in the head. I have seen Miller go after other players before. If he was other than goalie. He would be a enforcer thug himself.

WGR 550's reports Sabres goaltender Ryan Miller is out indefinitely with a concussion. I guess we will see if Enroth is #1 capable now.

David Leggio
Drew MacIntyre

And who do you bring over from Rochester?

Leggio is higher GAA than McIntyre, I say McIntyre will be the callup. He was with the team in Europe so that's my guess.

Edit: It has been confirmed the Sabres have recalled Drew McIntyre up. He has a 2.88 GAA for rochester through 8 games. Not bad.

Did you see Lucic's smirk on the way to the box? He knew and Gaustad should have stepped up

Lucic has a hearing today with Shanahan, I think they will suspend him enough games so he cant play next Wednesday in Buffalo so they can avoid a bad situation.

someone should have jumped on lucic and beat the shit outta him... this game was invented in a way that it should police itself... if you do that...you should know that your next shift, you will have to answer for it... The instigator penalty, and all the other soft "no fighting " bullshit have ruined the game...

From hockeybuzz: GARTH...Tyler Myers is a healthy scratch for tonight's tilt in Montreal. Mike Weber will assume Myers' position on the Buffalo blue line. Its the first scratch of his young NHL career. The big man should not be surprised by Lindy Ruff's decision.

Myers has been inconsistent at times this season, and has been indecisive with the puck. He's made poor decisions in all three zones.

Myers failed to answer the bell on Saturday night after Milan Lucic smoked Ryan Miller.
From what I hear, the locker room is still smoking from the stuff Lindy had to say to his troops for their lack of response.

Let's hope that this is a wake up call to Myers. It's about time that we stop hearing how his body has to develop for his height and for him and a few others to start playing the game with the energy and heart of Nathan Gerbe.

They ought to make him play against Buffalo, and then the Sabres out to give whomever beats on him a bonus! I bet Rob Ray would volunteer to suit up!

Does anyone remember John Wensik and/ or Bob Kelly who played for the Amerks back a few years ago? They could skate and enforce. Does the Sabres even have an enforcer on the team now? Is Kaleta back yet? My Dish Network sucks, still don't carry MSG!

Nothing for Lucic... maybe the fans needs to unintentionally trip him up on the way to the rink and beat his ass... if no one on the bench can do, maybe someone in the stands can!

Maybe the Buffalo Sabres should join this board, since they are a team of pussies. OH WAIT... they are already here.

After the Miller hit and no one stepped up, I hear that Buffalo's going to a fourth jersey It's pink and puffs out at the bottom kind of like a cheerleaders outfit.

For the record Lucic would destroy just about anyone on the Sabres but they should have tried

Yes, as Mike Milbury said, the reason no one went after Lucic is becuase no one wanted to have their face caved in. Have to agree with that assessment.
