Personally makes zero difference, as a sport BB is over my head.

However for those in the services industry (bar and waitstaff) this has an adverse effect on their income), almost as much impact as the no smoking ordinance recently passed.

This affects family and friends that are severely impacted by an already troubled economy.

Mavs? lol... just kidding.

I feel sorry for all the people that have no jobs when all of this sh*t is goingon. All the business' are out their income during the season.
MONEY MONEY MONEY!!!! and the players still make their money playing else where.. I am thinking that fans will not support their teams as much any more because of their selfishness.

okay there is my opinion...lol

My favorite activity outside of sex is going to Spurs games.
Love the Spurs
Love the Games
I even go to see the Silver Stars during the off-season just to
be going to a game.
Back in the day, I was a member of the Baseline Bums.
I am so disappointed that these guys can't come to an agreement.
They are as bad as Congress. No one wants to give an inch.
And ,like Congress, most of the players and admin's are millionaires.
WHen you think of that, it sheds a whole different light on the subject.
I used to think Tony and Timmy and Manu were the greatest three guys in the
world but now I'm wondering ...WTF? . This crap makes them look to be
as evil as LaBron and Kobe.....

@ramos... i think that is why fans will not look at the BB teams the same and they will hurt the bottom line when and if they come to agreement.( tony manu and timmy used to be nice.. now just greedy)

Couldnt care less as I find the NBA is damn near unwatchable. The way that they have bastardized the rules of the game is what turns me off. I personally think it is just about as legit as professional wrestling. Give me college basketball ANY day of the week over the NBA. I would rather drive over to UTSA, park for free, by a $10 courtside seat and watch those kids bust their asses for a full 40 minutes all while getting an education. NBA games you can watch the last 5 minutes and see all that you need to see. Also, I just dont identify with the thug life that most NBAers seem to represent. Getting down off my soap box now.

I'm sure I'll be the odd man out but it makes no difference to me. I generally don't watch or attend any sports games anyways. I do feel for those in the service industry that'll lose income over this.

+1 Round Tripper!

But to be fair, I find virtually any basketball game unwatchable. It's just mindless dribbling up and down the court over, and over, and over, and over, and over, and 99% of the time, it comes within 3-5 points in the last minute or so. So why the fuck watch a game? Just DVR it, and watch the last few minutes and you get the same effect without wasting a few precious hours of your life.

I feel for the others that the greedy B*$%*&+$ are causing to lose money. The salaries were severely over inflated and out of line -- on both side of this issue.

One reason we have best of 5 or 7 series is to increase $$ for the teams. Personally I think as professionals they are paid to WIN and if they can't win one game, as in the NCAA tournament, they should go home.

I personally don't care. I dislike the effect on the businesses that are benefitted by the spurs events. I do not know what the argument is but I cannot blame the players for trying to maximize their income. If they fail to perform the team owners are not going to care about them. At the same time the players are not going to care if the owners lose money so the owners should take care of themselves. Let them fight it out.

My problem is when the teams demand taxpayer subsidized facilities to play in. Why should taxpayers subsidize these owners profits and the players outragous salaries.
