gooose, you don't have the capacity and never will to compete intellectually with me.

You're too much of a sheep to debate. Even a 5 yr olds can google just about anything they want to find. Intelligence is the ability for abstract thought, understanding, , communication, and reasoning. I fear that you are lacking in those abilities. Perhaps in your case, its only temporary. It might help if you remove your head out your a$$.

As to the topic at hand; its understandable that Biden is owning up to the state of the economy for the simple reason that it is now their economy and they are running out of excuses and things to blame it on.

How predictable you have become. I tire of this game and its time to come clean. You have been led and manipulated and you make it too damn easy.

If the guy would work and play well with others just a little bit more, he'd be a damn good point-counterpoint person for debates.

Goose, you are right. Pulling up articles that present your side of a debate/arguement(sp) etc can't be treated as the *God honest* truth.
The phrase "Liars, Damn Liars, Statisticians" ring a bell? Yes, they are figures but sometimes how they are collected and circumstances not tabulated do figure in.

Even I, as a NPR/BBC guy, know that I can get skewed consciously or subconciously. Does the Koch Brothers ring a bell? They fund a few brain trust (I think) that have influence on NPR programming. Talk about diametric opposites.

I'll stop now before my not so well researched ramblings bite me too hard in the ass.

Actually, if you read the article, it becomes obvious that the head-line is misleading. I'm no genius, but even a dummy like me can figure that out without much effort.

I dunno. I read the article and what I get out of it is that there is no point in blaming the past administration because they are gone and can't do anything about it now. What is more important is that the people that are up there Obama AND Congress quit pissing at each other and fix the problem.

Honestly, I am not particularly interested in politics on this board. Unless getting fucked by Democrats AND Republicans constitutes good sex....

Exactly. The title is very missleading. Also, if this administration sat there and continued to blame Bush for everything he caused, nothing would get done. It has taken them long enough but I think the finally see that. Bush did cause some problems but many problems go back years. The problem is not republican or democrate, it is corporate greed. Every president has been influenced by corporations. No president in recent history has done much to stop corporations from taking both money and jobs away from Americans. I hope those people protesting in NY get their message heard.

The problem is our country is in deep debt, we have lost the respect in the world we once held, morals and values have been compromised over the years and our accountability has been lost. We no longer hold on to the ideal that we want to make this country better for our kids and the generations to come than those behind us.

Question is, how are each of us going to stand up and learn to carry on an intelligent conversion without the verbal attacks and abuses? When the founders of the constitution developed and signed the documents, they had huge disagreements both politically, philosphoically (sP?) and spiritually. But they still were able to discuss and come to agreements. Each of us has to take repsonsibility to treat each other with respect and dignity without the personal attacks. It was not a coincedence why we are called the UNITED States. We have to learn to stand United together again.
