I have explained my reasons for getting my tattoos in the several other tattoo threads that have been posted here in the past.

I would be more than happy to share them with you if I felt you were really interested in learning more about the reasons and stories behind my art work, lets do lunch sometime and we can have a discussion about it if you are really curious about it.

I just know from the many threads about this in the past that these never end well and some people say some pretty hurtful and judgmental things.

While I respect the right and personal decision for a tatoo, I personally choose not to have one.

Tattoos would not stop me from seeing someone here. No way. In fact, tattoos might make me more likely to see someone (as long as the tattoos aren't pimp brands).

Having said that, I don't get it. Why would a hot girl scar herself with a tattoo that is going to look progressively worse with age?

I just know from the many threads about this in the past that these never end well and some people say some pretty hurtful and judgmental things.
I was "really interested" so I did a quick little search, and found this:

Times ARE changing and yes it is becoming harder and harder to find anyone without some type of ink. My teenage niece and nephew are covered and my advice to them was dont do it. I got my first tattoo at 13! I had some pretty silly amateur tattoos before i was even 18 and yes if i could go back i would not have any because i didnt put much thought into my tattoos.

For a few years I debated if i would have them removed or fixed/covered up. I even went to see a dr for a consult. I decided that i wanted to have them fixed instead of removed. Removal is a hell of a lot more painful, takes up to a year and still leaves a scar.
Knowing the above, not sure I understand the hostility toward me or this thread. Sounds like you would call getting your initial Tattoos a mistake. This does a good job of making my point for me. That the majority of people getting Tattoos are really buying junk, and will figure out they are unhappy with them, as they get a bit wiser.

So... not sure what part of that you thought I wouldn't want to, or couldn't understand.

Quote:

I just started getting my "old ink" fixed. i have thought about what i am getting for at least 2 years. All of my tattoos have a personal meaning to me, even the now infamous flower tat that by the way is still not finished. I have found some of the best artist in the country to fix my tattoos and i am spending a pretty nice chunk of change for it.

I feel that my generation has different outlooks on tattoos that previous ones and that is perfectly understandable. Age difference has a lot to do with this subject. The bottom line is I have not always been a provider i wasnt grooming myself for this as a teenager. It is what it is and yes tattoos are forever. it does not change who i am on the inside or how i conduct myself business wise. Anyone who knows me personally can tell you a am just as sweet of a girl as one without tattoos.

The point is that the guy was wrong for singling me out and using me to be rude or bash all people with tattoos. I have never gotten mad or had my feelings hurt because a person said they preferred providers without any ink as long as they are respectful about it. People with tattoos still have feelings.

There are still people who do like the ink and i am here to fulfill that fantasy if there were no guys in the hobby that liked it i wouldn't get ANY business at all and i would have been gone from here a long time ago.
Sounds to me like you just can't wrap your head around the idea, that I can not really care for the Tattoos, and yet like the individual. Since that is exactly the kind of attitude you would like people to have (Judge the person, not their look ), why be so abrupt, and challenge my viewpoint?

I think your attitude, and the comment: "I just know from the many threads about this in the past that these never end well...", tells the real story. I think you recognize you made a mistake, and have chosen a course of action to fix it, in the way you see best.

I can understand why people get artistic tattoos, which is clearly the direction you are trying to move yours. But even this has its problems. In life, shit happens. People have surgery, people are in accidents. Our bodies do a good job of healing in many instances. Tattoos do not. So one accident and the best meant piece of great art, can become messed up and the wearer is stuck with it. I doubt most people who get a Tattoo think about this.

As we age, this also has an effect upon the Tattoos. This should also be something an individual who chooses one should think about and make an informed choice about.

So, after reading your post, and thinking through the issues I know of, seems like you are suggesting almost exactly what I do. That many Tattoos are chosen by individuals who don't know better, and have a high likelyhood of being unhappy with their choice later in life. Seems like that would be good for many younger less mature people making the choice to hear from a source like yourself.

I have a question for you after reading what you said. You started getting Tattoos at the age of 13. Did you get consent from an Adult to get them? If not, how did you get the Tattoo shop to work on you? I can't imagine a shop doing this on a minor, for fear of a lawsuit. Honest questions... that I would love to hear the answer to, Really!

It looks to me like you have "an axe to grind" and you're just using this thread as a pretense to argue about why you think most tattoos are stupid instead of truly trying to "understand".

Default i generally am not

a big fan of ink , i always think you would not paint over the mona lisa but occasionally enjoy a cute tattoo. there are so many beautiful women and if i see a few small tattoos on them it would not dissuade me one way or another. those covered in ink kinda turn me off [though as stated before that may be the very reason someone else chooses to select the same provider].

that being said the biggest turnoff was once doing doggie with a provider who is still on this board and seeing a portrait of her son and daughter on her back. now this was airbrushed out of her pics and while if she had a huge tat of a butterfly, her favorite animal or a sunset it wouldn't have dissuaded me a bit. but trying to pump away while her kids "watched" me was unnerving and felt dirty and wrong. info like this should without a doubt be revealed before an appointment. while she was an attractive and skilled provider upon seeing the art it was difficult to stay "interested'

I thought I'd make an effort to look. Had I not looked I'm sure I would have been called out for that as well. Do I need to give a link at urban dictionary to "Damned if you do, damned if you don't!" LOL

I'm trying to decide if I'm interested in taking the time to meet Jules about this. I'm not sure it wouldn't be more of her telling me what I think. I'm trying to judge by the tone of her response, but so far no response.

As far as "trying to make her look bad", perhaps you'd like to enlighten me. What have I said or done that attempts to make her look bad? All I've done is draw some pretty simple conclusions from what she's said, and ask a couple questions in a polite manner.

Honestly, I don't think I could make any of the ladies who have responded in this thread "look bad". They all look pretty smokin hot to me! I've seen Reese, not as often as I'd like, as her incall is simply not a convenient location for me, and It's tough to get away for an almost 1 hour drive there, and the same to get back... but I have a couple times, and enjoyed myself immensely. From the reviews I've read, I'd fully expect Dannie and Jules to fall into the same category. So as much as some seem to suggest otherwise, my intent is not to defame or injure anyone.

I guess everyone is so used to being attacked here, that they put up all their layers of armor before even considering that the poster is being genuine.
