Anthony Weiner in Rehab

The news is STILL talking about the Anthony Weiner "scandal". Apparently he's in rehab (not sure exactly what for). Wondering what this community thinks about this. Did he do something really horrible, or did he just get caught? Does he need rehab? If so, what for? Are his critics really all that perfect, or are they to some degree hypocrits like most of the rest of us? Thoughts???

I don't think he needs rehab, he's just someone who got caught. However, he sure is a liar and I wouldn't ever consider voting for him. He needs to resign and go get a new job.

Rehab is just a ceremonial humiliation that wifey drags you through after you get caught (Like Tiger).

So if he says he's resigning and it's the truth then he must be lying and he's not really resigning.

He fell into the same trap countless guys have done before him...overestimating your own clandestine abilities and getting sloppy.

While technology has made it a hundred times easier to try to hook up, it's made it just as much easier to leave tracks that'll get you busted.

He seems like one of those guys who bought into his intelligence and power and thought he'd always stay ahead of the curve. Twitter is a very sloppy tool for what he was trying to do. It's way too easy to send a tweet instead of a DM. Of course why he would send private booty DM's from his official account and use that FB and official cell phones to communicate is a whole other level of stupid too.

While he likely does have addiction issues (as a lot of us around here likely do as well), going to rehab at this point is just a cheap ploy to try to dodge accountability for his actions.
