Time to get in the water...Floating the Brazos this Saturday!

Hey all you sexy people, let's go get in the water this weekend.

I'm going to Glen Rose, TX this Saturday to float the Brazos. I grew up floating this stretch of the river and it's always a lot of fun. If you would like to join me and we end up with a small group of float buddies I think you'll enjoy it.

Here are the details:
We will be floating the Brazos River on Saturday near Glen Rose, TX.
There is a place there that will rent us tubes for $10 each. They put
us in the river and pick us up then return to their base. We need to
be in Glen Rose by no later than 11:00am. If we are later than that
the wait is too long and parking is limited so it becomes a problem.
The float is a short one, maybe 2 miles, but we can stop along the way
for as long as we want and hang out while consuming beer and snacks.
Plan in a 3-4 hour float I've floated this part of the river all my
life, there are some tiny rapids in two spots. It's very safe. It will
be fairly crowded with others. Last weekend I drove through there on
my way home from an assignment and the water level looked good and I
must have seen at least 60 tubes in the water.

We can meet up in south Ft. Worth and drive down as a group if
multiple vehicles are involved.

Keep these tips in mind while preparing to float with The River Master:
1. You should ALWAYS address me as The River Master, especially when
in the presence of hot chicks in tiny bikinis.
2. No glass containers are allowed on the river.
3. Ice chests must be smaller, like 40qt. (I've got two)
4. Waterproof sunblock is a must. If you are fair skinned you're gonna
fry unless you apply sunblock multiple times. The River Master will
help hot chicks with the application but guys are on their own.
5. Bathing suits should be old and dark colors. The river stains light
colored suits so if it's your fav suit pick another one.
6. Cheap sunglasses are a good idea. They fall off into the water and
are lost forever so don't show up with Armani shades. A lanyard with
keep them on your head better.
7. Bring a couple of towels, a pair of shorts and a tshirt.
8. Shoes are a must! There is lots of broken glass in the river
(fuckin Yankees). DO NOT SHOW UP WITH FLIP FLOPS OR SANDLES! They
will never stay on your feet and if you bring them The River Master
will lose all respect for your safety Cheap tennis shoes work but are
heavy when wet. Cheap swimmers shoes can be found at walmart or
academy.
9. If you want to bring a favorite snack we will have very little room
in the cooler so keep it all in a one gallon ziplock. Bring enough to
share with the entire party or face brutal ridicule.
10. Hot chicks touching The River Master inappropriately from time to
time is both encouraged and socially acceptable.

If you have any questions please keep in mind that when speaking of
matters pertaining to float trips I am to ALWAYS be addressed as The
River Master.

I want to get a group together and rent a boat and go to lake whitney to do some fishing. but I may be up for some fun tubing on the brazos, the best tubing in Texas is the Guad tho. oh the memories. get a seedless watermelon, cut that sum of bitch in half, spike it with everclear then get a straw and large spoon and you are ready to go tubing!
